Listen to poem:
ethereal
summer magic
under your charm
a hex and a spell
as sunrays
with marvel
unfurl with glee
proliferating
joy and wonder
across the land

Boomers from here to anon,
What turned us all on?
Our blue jeans of love,
Marched for peaceful doves,
Sun baking for brown.
Skin blotches do cast frown,
Our denim survives,
Silvers staying alive,
So far, so good, I'm stating,
Freckles still proliferating,
Feeling young never grows old,
We're boomers, do be told!
I have grown a forest of thoughts in my mind,
Autumn and springs visit by turn.
Sometimes it becomes so dense and deep
sun rays can’t reach the underneath
and allow proliferating weeds.
Sometimes it’s utterly desolate
Not a single blade of grass can be seen.
I try my best to keep it evergreen
nevertheless, I am a human being.

I am the president of the Proliferating Society he told me smugly.
What do you do? I asked.
He thought for a bit. “We prolificate things”.
“Like what?”
We are currently prolificating private eyes.
Where do you prolificate them to?
We do not prolificate them to places, we just prolificate them.
Sounds like fun, I said. “Sign me up”, not really meaning it.
A wife in each tent
My hearth a tenement
Fecund grove lofty sentiment
Cultivating each manicured accoutrement
Family tree planted in oasis of wine
Fertile sprouts a fruitful sign
Pristine shoots pure genetic thread to enshrine
Concubines to further seed family line
Pods proliferating in an ocean of brine
Hybrid progeny status will assign
Grafted branches of patriarchal vine
Strong arm, domesticated wings to align
Sinewy twine to encumber free-flowing bine
