I wanted to go Monday
Man, haven’t been since the 80’s
Thought
Man, you’ll be hit by a stray bullet
And being on probation
So, chilled at home
You can’t even take kids no more

2 court dates up ahead
15 minutes for lunch
2 times I've got sick
1 crime committed
1 chance to go home
3 hours the verdicts in
10 years of my life
Time to serve for 1 crime committed
The heat is rising up, up, up
and I feel like a wilting pup
The breeze seems to be hiding
and summer is happily sidling
down the lane it's just insane!
I meet the day with trepidation
every hour of sun is on probation
can I take it ..thats my one refrain
I like it but, I wish it would rain
common rain... this is insane !
Wish it would rain, wish it would rain
rain, rain, rain,
Like a special commission
With no obvious due date.
So is one's salvation.
An assignment up to self.
An commission easy at sight,
But over powering in actuality.
A commission soon due,
Yet the date is unknown.
The due date,
Probation, is soon.
Let the righteous be righteous still,
Let the wicked be wicked still.
Then the Eastern clouds will split,
The trumpet of the King shall sound!
He will shout,
"It is finished! It is finished!"
