Plastic Flowers
My basket full of plastic flowers:
Pricing them passes all the hours....

No Thinking, Just
No judging, just loving
No hurting, just living
No budgeting, just pricing
No nudging, just longing
No huffing, just climbing
No shifting, just lounging
No action, just waiting...

Enticing Icing and Pricing
Enticing Icing and Pricing

We were inspired by the great icing,
That had been attractive and enticing;
We wanted to buy;
Take home and try,
Until we saw what it cost and pricing.

Premium Member On Pause
Pricing tickets for our stay
Let's go somewhere far away
Away for just a little while
Walks on beaches for a mile
Or two or three or maybe more
No need to care or mind the store
Let the world go on its spiel
While we get off the spinning wheel...

The Fool
Different publishers
Many offers
Praising their dollar seeking way
Hungry to publish my poems
Establish my talent,
Gift and voice.
Take advantage I must!
Many poets order extra copies,
Their proffer
Special pricing…
…BUT HURRY
Time is limited
Mail us your order
Send your check
And forever remain
The fool....

Premium Member Jeeper By the Dozen
A ninety thousand dollar Jeep,
And that’s a standard one, no less!
The ‘23 Grand Wagoneer
Conquers the school lines best, I guess.

If Coleridge dreamt of Rubikahns
With pricing up among the stars,
I’d search for stash of heroin
And check his needle arm for scars.

A capital idea though
And P. T. Barnum comes to mind,
So climb up in that Wagoneer
And leave those school moms far behind....

Pricing Rising Money Is Dying
These days it's tough being alive
Each day trying to survive
High prices are everywhere
Everyone living in fear
Paychecks not lasting for long
As your trying to be strong
Doing what's right to get by
To support family you try
To stretch out every dollar
But inside you scream and holler
Hoping costs go down again
Like they were way back when
No one had to choose between
Paying rent or food to eat...

Falling Into a Dyke
I just asked a Cleve Mike
What it might just be like
To fall into a dyke
While riding a fast bike?
A Mike Mc styling,
All day gusto rising,
His showmanship pricing,
His daily cake icing
But Mike was all silence,
My question robbed of sense
Through not planned reticence;
I think A Mike's Patience
But soon from Mike "A hike!"
"Satan's own planned strike"

So, no last violence
To obvious common sense....

Enticing Pricing
Enticing Pricing

Is amazing how people will find pricing
Which may appear to always be enticing
On you will dawn,
Should read on;
Was way too high and never is enticing.

Jim Horn

For my favorite poetry fans. Should be
best poem but oh well, only I am the
one who could tell. What I said and
really meant is how could you be
incompetent; Read poems that are
written like mine while drinking
wine a fruit from the vine.

Now write ma a limerick...

Onion
Onion is crying
For-itself
Without peeling
Without cutting
Only sitting
On the shelf
Prices to soar
Without uproar
Maximum this year
Minimum next year
Unable to know
Why prices grow?
Sometimes to throw
Sometimes to borrow
So much confusion
Or the market's illusion
Farmer in delusion
Customer's suffocation
Problem to solve
Still unsolved
Of simple pricing
Without price hiking
Of the perishable cycle
Of onions survival.
