Fragment of Poetic Life
I am possessor
of some poetic grace!
Sentenced to have some happiness
in commented praise..
But not having it in my pocket
no pecuniary pleasure...
This is the poet's life!...

Fountain of Youth
There is an urban legend
surfacing somewhere on the islands
that I am a possessor of a converted
fountain of youth deep inside
my bedroom closet
and every year on my birthday
I would take a bath
into its calming spring waters
enclosing the mystical essence

A Song of Praise
My prayer is a song of praise for You, my pen shall pen the greatness of Your grace and write of how Your right hand has led me, Most Holy One, Your glory is my goal, I belong forever my God, to You for You're the sole possessor of my soul. ------------------- 10.7.16

Fly Like a Bird
It's been my good fortune
to have this close friend,
a possessor of license
for flying type things.

He owns his own aircraft
for leaving the ground,
no wings fixed to lift us,
just blades spinning round.

A ride, two seat copter,
the feeling profound,
I feel as a bird must,
when flying around....

Shadow of Another Love
A heart no longer mine
My life not my own
Just a forgotten trinket of a unaware
possessor
Misused and mistreated
Endangered and damaged
Like a puppy worshiping it's careless
master

My mind full of doubts
My heart full of hurts
My soul shattering with need
Hope a limp colorless habit trudging
forward on and on
Without any living spark driving out the
dark...

Way Back Home
On my way back home, I thought of you. Your face flashed in an instant. I heard whispers of your voice, so gentle I wanted to listen more. And then I felt how you vellicate my face, my neck. Your hand had its own brain it managed to go more downward. Your name flaunted like street signs, your eyes shimmered like stoplights.

I thought of you on my way back home. But you were never my home, and I was never your possessor. And now, I forgot the directions....

Knowledge
Knowledge is a treasure,
that accompanies its owner.
It is a power that commands respect.
It lives beyond it's possessor,
it's instrument is mightier than sword,
 Raising human dignity among peers,
difficult to accumulate,
but easy to impart.
Not physical,
shown orally and in actions.
Knowledge is a golden medal,
once won, no one sees it.
It is proven through worth.
Known through actions,
no one dares disobey and still has it.
Indeed,
Knowledge is a treasure....
