Playing The Race Card
It angers me to hear this.
I hate to tell you so.
It gets me so frustrated
and I had to let you know.

I didn't donate blood
because I thought that 'they' were white.
I gave my blood to help them...
because I knew that it was right.

When you play the race card
it angers many souls.
Where once there was compassion,
there now are empty holes.

I feel it's not accepted
as just a touch from those who care.
It turns into a 'race thing'
and that just isn't fair.
