Time for a poet is
a Pinata of Words
It is dawn, I am up
to crack one open
flip the tab
juiced, ready to swing
and twirl!
Pinata
If they identify themselves as a pinata.
Is it ok for me to beat them with a big stick?

Surreal soldiers had a candy pinata that was pretty sweet
They added to it a few veggies, in particular one big red beet.
The ones who got the candy bars, were happy as could be.
The one who got stuck with the beet did not give one whoopee.
all see white
I see black,
black clouds raining
acid rain
to the ongoing
parade
an invisible pinata
being swung at by all
the mold has cemented
cracks have been filled
"no way out"
says the frightening
clown
his voice echoing between
towers
shunning all smiles
Please strike
the piñata
i have made for you
out of the stripes of paper
and the glue,
In the midnight hour
i have labored long
on this plump pig
of collaged letters.
with corrugated metaphors
Sightless Find the weakest point.
let that guide
your hand
the transparent rose
cellophane
wrapped candy
shall flow
in libation of sound
pour down
like a quirky rainstorm
bouncing
like silver
coins
on the sidewalk
of your mind.
