Love has no corners
no sharp edges –
and if there are slopes
or valleys
we are so stood on our
heads, that all seems
to climb stars everywhere...
Indeed, love is not sane
but such out-of-mind
if a Constant
would save the world
from Therapists, and
pharmaceuticals.... Politicians?
We are taught to fear our neighbor
We are taught to fear ourselves
we are taught we don't know what's best for us
We must accept these pills
We are taught to blindly follow the masses
we are taught to blindly follow police
we are taught to blindly follow media
We must accept their beliefs.

Night’s sleep was scanty,
today I’m logy and slow.
Forgetting pharmaceuticals,
caused tossing to and fro.
Today my song,
won’t be a mellifluous sound.
But I’ll be pedantic,
until my sleep clocks rewound.
I’m apt to be loquacious,
during sleep once again.
While a good power nap,
might mollify my pain.
it doesn't seem right
learning and research progress
are making things worse
frosh week will start soon
university parties
welcoming students
initiations
beer wine smoke and good times
pharmaceuticals
opioid asprins
doctors prescription relief
ultimate release
just teach them its norm
and buy an overdose kit
accidents happen
post secondary
learning...and life essentials...
profits do come first
Jung lectured of dogma
its strangling of the symbol
the Medieval melted with magma
doubt was born, its smile twinkled
As monks wrote songs of Poliphile
Seeking soul from the external
in the Enlightened world,
nothing seems to be real
For eons our ancestors
were certain of the eternal
Is the light worth its weight?
Pain now lifted by pharmaceuticals
A flock who just can't walk straight
Now we live in plight or we are
simply deemed neurotypical..
