Easter Sunday
Parking spots are plentiful
Just like they used to be.
The promenade is empty – 
On the benches, only me.

It’s Passover and Easter;
Folks are visiting their friends
Or families to celebrate
Before the daylight ends.

They’re either eating matzoh balls
Or possibly, a ham
With lots of homemade goodies
For desserts for all to cram.

I don’t know what the Easter people
Drink, but in New York,
We Pesach* folk drink Manischewitz,
Wine without a cork.
