Confused what does he want?
In a place so lost and alone
What is it he seeks?
Is it adoration, fame or just identity?
He can’t answer these questions

My husband is a father
And my son’s a dad as well,
A job at which the both of them
Do very much excel.
The one to whom my cards went
Has been gone for many years,
Though love, in all its stubbornness,

Of course I think of him today
And though we had to part,

For him within my heart.
Hear yeah her voice, she perseveres

Fluffy white thing that just hangs there -
a cotton ball of droplets
hovering below the blue plaster
that restrains the stars
from falling down...
A world beyond my reach -
fairy castles
in magical lands
where my every wish comes true,
and all that I love perseveres...
I long to travel there -
amongst those dream worlds
to experience the liberation
so I look to you
and say,
take me there...

Statuesque as an Amazon woman,
Platinum or pewter? She perseveres
Prodigious? Preternatural and pivotal
Regal, brilliant, a spiritualistic luster
She sparkles with pure effervescence,
glistens with a gloriousness unknown by most
I follow her pooling petticoat into the
outer limits of my poetic imagination,
expecting nothing less than perfection.
Until that day comes
I am here
Listening…
Silently…
As the sun and moon race against time
My sole existence persists and perseveres
Survives among the complete emptiness
Internally,
I am incomplete

Living lacks enthusiasm

If I lived in Alabama
I would so much disapprove
Of the attitude towards women
That I’d simply have to move.
There’s a revolution coming
And, despite those southern charms,
Many Alabama females
Should right now be up in arms.
For to challenge a decision
That’s been law for many years
Proves that women’s low-class status
In that state still perseveres.
I’ll not visit Alabama;
I don’t know why someone would
But I hope there will be protests
And perhaps they’ll do some good.
