Deconstructing Orange
Oh you peel the rind

A Shallow Breath
I am fret-less,
in a fingers slide
palming the sublime
a lost cord

Nautical
NAUTICAL
a gale of tidal
nautical waves
nourish the shoal
hand palming moist

nonentity upstarts
avoid nautical
aquanimity
blind to sea
blind to see
clarity
of mind

like an amanita to forest floor.
Palming a bit of red dust and
I am animal and palpable
no different from
the cardinal flying overhead,
the pepper-scented geranium,
the garnet embedded in clay....
