A Shallow Breath

I am fret-less,
in a fingers slide
palming the sublime

a lost cord
the first guide
on my journey
I was yanked
into destiny’s
embrace

alien phantastic
orphaned to never
and bound
on the loom
of fate

I kiss sleep from
your mouth
and bathe
in dreams
of you

I am incandescent
on a loop of twine
