A Sea of Love
A sea of love
It's written in my soul
You're the only one
With me the greedy heart
Overrules the wise mind...

a Reach
towards Regret,
so Redundant.
never Relieves
the emptiness,
only Reveals
the loneliness.

desperation
overrules Reason.
declination
inhibits Recovery....

Pacification His horrid hunger cries for total fulfillment; overrules his mind. Diversion is no answer; addiction rules his sad world. Pacification is never the solution. He will cry for more. Starvation and withdrawal may end this deadly hunger. Sandra M. Haight ~3rd Place~ Contest: Images That Make You Think. Sponsor: Silent One Image #3 Judged: 04/14/2016

FINGERS

An ultimate reach to the tips of desire,
That heavenly touch
Overrules the mind, sets afire

Salesman, preacher, teacher,
All circle, point, sign,
Being quite unconscious of their design

Fingers may travel a path of their own,
Having shape, body, joints,
Purpose down to the bone

And when all that’s left is final reflex,
Warmth, carnal knowledge gone,
The very tips will bid adieu before one moves along

Lessons Learned
The heart knows it's nemesis
And guards from each attack
But somehow it always falters
And the pain keeps coming back

Your mind acts as a sentry
Deciding who to believe
Choosing those to welcome
Who mean not to deceive

But the heart takes precedence
And overrules the mind
A malignant burst of emotion
That once was so benign

Lessons learned cast aside
Your destined to repeat
Mistakes once learned but now forgotten
With the very next one you meet...

Deserving Fruit.
Hate it when some one says
"You are Wrong."
Hate it when some one says
"Check your-self"
Hate it when someone says
something right at my dignity.
My Pride is My pride.
My self-respect overrules you all.
Then up in hell,
Lost to answer his question,
Why did You not admit you were wrong,
when they kept saying check yourself.
If Never learned the lesson of life,
Being Humble and having humility
Never learned anything at all,
Only learned hell.
Your fruit is then your choice....
