Premium Member Can a Leopard Change Their Spots

it’d be impossible for a leopard to change their spots outwardly

however, that same leopard had a significant change inwardly

Bewitching Smile

Through your eyes
You can see me
All of me outwardly
But when you smile
You got me inwardly
You got my heart
You captivate my soul
As I smile you back.

Premium Member Really Quite Shy

Outwardly I may seem like an outgoing guy But if the truth be known, I'm really quite shy It's all a big act To counteract The shyness I've had since to a grasshopper I was knee high

Premium Member Easy As It Looks

Easy to get along with
except with myself

Kind and supportive
to everyone else

Outwardly auspicious
while inwardly flagitious

Gentle and sweet
in everyone's books

But being me isn't
as easy as it looks

Cold Place On Earth

Concern for friends & family,
Taste of love expressed outwardly from the heart.
Worry not?
Impossible journey,
Who can escape?
Emotional element missing?
Ice age,
World of soul-less beings,
Image of God not found within-

Jack 60

With less and less affection
It can only move in one direction

Every time she cries
A little more trust dies

Outwardly not much shows
But inside she already knows

Ignorance isn’t bliss
When sealing lies with a kiss

The Self Incarcerated Virgo

Vanity and pride are my prison
Inhibitions bind and trap my desires
Relentlessly striving for perfection
Greatness eludes my every move
Outwardly concealing my inner turmoil

Premium Member Wisps of Love

Like smoke rings or the clouds aloft
My love for you floats quiet, soft
Undetected outwardly
It lives and thrives inside of me
Until the day decides to come
Where you and I will be as one
Said love now soft won't be that then
Unbridled passion will be when

Premium Member Partly Cloudy Always

Partly cloudy always (on the inside)
though outwardly
with mostly fair skies showing;
rare sporadic chances of sunbursts;
little chance of precipitation ever
(big girls don’t cry);
20% chance daily
of low-moaning wind:
the forecast of myself

Only Human

To suffer thus
Outwardly steel
Absence of fuss

Inwardly crumble
Smile never fading
Tumble after tumble

Solitary tears
Sear cold flesh
Release silent fears

Forget, move on
Tomorrow another day
Forgot, gone

To suffer thus
Is only human
like us

Winter Roses Mystic

    Helebores Niger
    Pure white wintertime roses
    Unblemished by frost

    When sprinkled with snow
    They reflect every sunrise
     Symbolic of hope

    These flower of peace
    Possessing dark undertones
     Yet outwardly pure

Premium Member Being Taciturn

Being Taciturn (TASS-uh-tern) By: Miracle Man 8/29/2018 She’s often outwardly taciturn in a group setting, Opting to be inconspicuous, “Like a fly on the wall.” Being attentive to others while mentally vetting, Often, her shorthand is chosen method of scrawl.

The Verse-Writer

The verse-writer

A blind optimist outfits revealing insights galore
Thwarts the swirling world and faith restores
Aimless existence outwardly alchemizes
A scoundrel,a seraph and a lunatic in him domiciles

Yet,the poet secretes abysmal anguish in privacy
Does camouflage a mental deranged stability

Young Old Bull

My, he really is something, my egotistical friend -
Enigmatic and choleric he will be till the very end;
Youth, the loss of it, causes him no alarm, he's just so cool,
Outwardly, creaky bones and all, he still acts like a young bull.
Keep going, old boy, I pray, till the next grandchild comes your way.

Premium Member Storms

Storms of life happen inward and outwardly
Together we will overcome their aftermath
One step at a time, we began to rebuild our lives
Rising above total devastation and turmoil
Much prayer must be sent forth as well because
Storms of life happen inward and outwardly

Hiding Himself Away

Hiding himself away
For this unbettered cause.
To draw out what, more timid
Does in its own truth live.
Expression of soul. Through bard's
Conjuring, creative.

Seen as odd, now it seems
More occult, in this trick!
By whom no finer tingle
For receptivity
Crave but shock; its spectacle.
Who but live outwardly.

A Letter To My Impatient Self

Quite fortunately,
There's unseen beauty in ugly things.

And altogether fascinating,
Unrevealed mystery in every smile.

Just as a treasure is hidden,
Not every purpose is outwardly intended.

The smoothness of a road doesn't always gurantee a safe destination.
Sometimes, it's the rough road that leads to the strongest direction.

Winner's Badge

Margin was short,
minute and hair breadthed,
he smiled outwardly,
and inwardly grimaced,
hid the inner pain,
and buttered the whole main,
His lordship came forward,
quite ingratiated,
waving hands,
he conjured an ace,
of his grace,
which now began to race,
lordship had obliged,
had the margin hedged,
he came out with a winner's badge.
