Living
Things pass, as pluming as a summer breast
Netting calmly on a virgin body,
And I am aware
It's not the man who takes control of this
But the poet rather the bliss of the planet!...

A Big Crude Demoness
A big crude demoness
                 Entered fabulous Garnet Hotel Inn
                     Juggling kettles, looting money
                  Netting oodles, precocious quagmire,
                 Respite-- she thankfully undressed--
            Voluptuous wench, XXX yodeling, zonked....

Iridescent Laptop Kingdoms
Miracle of consciousness re-wired
Beyond the physical plane
De-materialized, reconfigured webbing
Teases my canopy's netting

With no feet, message travels
The Mind of Time
Attracting this resplendent huddle

To make a living
Livelihood's muddled
As yet,
But wait!
Mercury puddles

Promising
energy transacted
A fate never to late
Be among Gospel materialized...

Winter Scene
Mountains of prestige
underneath them snowy trees,
narrow creek free-flowing icy water.
Skiers perfect netting with a chilling thermosetting,
peeping from a group of giant boulders.
Freezing, wheezing, sneezing,
placed it in safe keeping-
scene that would be best in the midsummer.
Taking one last peek for a painting I am weak
though second glance paralyse then shudder....

Love Became
Love became
Then the crystal rain
Doors and portals
The beast knowing itself
Knowing the cold rain
Midnights plain pallor
The oft repeated wind all the same
Foot dredges a path beaten
Dug and dragged, moved loose
The self from its pillar prose
What came the circular ride
A life inside cloth netting
Exploring to go home
And bring back what was found
Consolidate beacons and return...

Premium Member A White Silken Shroud
A silver sliver of crescent moon slips over the rim of the Earth. Sol waits in inky darkness as Dawn's light pierces the Night at its heart, announcing His rebirth. A pink carnation of a sun blooms on the horizon's east edge. And a spider's web, freshly spun, hangs like netting draped on the hedge. gold butterfly wings wrapped in a white silken shroud... life's eaten alive

Strife
I look ugly and sombre
reflected in the gay
mirror,abashed,
a misplaced creature,
of raging strife
whose soul howls a burning
cry.

A crescendo of gripping fears
threatens to engulf me
I stand with conscious
barrenness
gnawing me,
shameless tears mocking me.

The chaotic future lures me
netting me with glittering
dreams,
hopeful desires
while I with a pregnant mind
stumble back to the cradle of
clutching rags....

Late Upon a Fallen Season
Frost crinkles late blooms, a lacy white netting
invades upon a morning haze.

Fall sheds itself, undrapes heat
discarding warmth in leafy twill and tissue.

Later the sun will counterattack
the chill will melt
upon a tepid winds still gilded breath,

yet

a shade of winter is moving,
weaving itself into the mud and earth,
it is tracing a chill unseen river

and where that cooling pauses
the living must find cover
or pass away....

Premium Member Summer's Lazy Netting
Oh each summer one sport ever calls
Though my energy always just stalls
For I'm not but a menace
Playing hot, sweaty tennis
Just knocking the fuzz off old balls ...

So, how slothful can one hot guy be
In a hammock beneath a palm tree
Where all summer, I'll swing
Paying some goose to bring
The fresh ice for my Long Island Tea.

Grateful
I look up at the stars and marvel at their setting
The darkness of the sky, which is used, as their netting
The vastness of our solar system, as we orbit round the sun
The immenseness of our planets and how each one is spun
The massiveness of earth, holding continents and seas
Its rivers and its lakes, beneath the mountains and the trees
The fascination of humanity, how we adapted and we grew
Ever grateful, among all this beauty, I was still able, to find you

Frameworks of Choice
Break apart all those facile screens
Organized overdrawing of institutional bleeding
Walks through maps and tourism
Pushing hour glasses beyond comprehension

At the ground level, animals are recurring
Human bounty participates at the nexus
As species consolidate their voices
Power and choice conglomerate each family network

Brother in arms bent apart
Relegates to the past where futures amass
The tiny behavioral netting with wet tongues crawling
Putative changes through into city potluck...
