Mr. "somebody"

"Inside a world that changes every day,
Inside a world that nobody remembers the day after,
Mr. "Somebody" tries to learn the values and principles of life
in reading mythologies and fairytales.

I am so sorry Mr. "Somebody"
You will find no happily ever after."

Nevertheless

The good news is that you and I
are legendary.
The not so comfortable truth is:
we are all legendary.

Maybe we will retain our intrinsic mythologies
in the next phase of existence,
but that’s really not good news you know
for we will once again be just legends.

Nevertheless come what may
                         we will always be heroes.

A New Freedom

Shrieking and squawking,
following prophets through uncharted waters,
wailing in sustained arpeggios.
He mimics constellations, blazing stars in rich profusion,
pulling passion into focus with a dark yet supple tone.

Religions and mythologies,
screams of souls in harsh enslavement,
sources for his stark doxologies.
Charting new boundaries of rhythm and rhyme,
a new definition his legacy, growing with time.

Citizen of the World

"I am not an Athenian or a Greek,
but a citizen of the world" - Socrates.

Irish and Scottish instrumental music
is one of my favorite.

I have a weakness for oriental cuisines.

I am a fan of Greek and Hindu mythologies.

Most of my neighbors are Arabic.

The library I attend belongs to a Native American.

I am an African who speaks English language.

Different cultures and races color my life!

I am a citizen of the world.

Grouper Rd

I'm staring at you through the windows.
Watching you move in place.
A target to miss within the shadows.
We fantasize about the future we face.
With little more than a spike to the forehead.
Mythologies die and another's replaced.

A mass delusion begins to follow.
With little to no effort and then it's spoon fed.
People go headless and begin to swallow.
Violence breaks out then reason is dead.
Once reason is thrown to the wolves.
Logic stops and faith takes hold.
