Core
I am a restless spirit
With a wandering soul
Not meant to be chained or bound
Love me if you must
Or leave me to dust
My core will remain unchanged...

Never Did
Never did what you thought you might
Wandering through darkness looking for light
Lost in the silence
A wandering soul
Alone and empty
growing old...

Edges of Doubt
Art in loneliness
Shiny water of sea-green
Your smile shines bright in the rain
A wandering soul
Write treasures in your dungeon
The edges of doubt are sharp...

A PLACE OF SILENCE

Desperately my wandering soul

A place of silence looks to find

For

Is yearning the voice of God to hear

And with His divine Word to bind!

Wandering Soul
My soul is lost to the devil inside me
My soul is the devil reincranation
My soul can't be trusted
My soul can go either way
My soul has cause my cursed anger
My soul has the Vera attached to it
So my soul is my curse but it is also my destiny...

Fortified ponderous wandering soul
Reaching for the stars above
Blessed and beautiful barely whole
Gods wayward plan to send me love
Oblivious and cast away
Undaunted meanderings hit a wall
Sun rises moon fades away
Hungry my soul stands astutely tall...

Wandering Soul
He claims he was born,
without any summon
from his mother,
or a message from his
ancestors’ gods.

He feels like Jonah,
after he was forcefully
swallowed by a big fish.

He believes this world
is not his destination.
His face tells that he was
not ready to be born....

Heavens Bliss
I often dreamed of the lofty place
Where my wandering soul would rest in grace
Where peace like a long lost friend
Would lie upon my wasted breast
And the smile of an innocent child
Carved deep into my wearied face
Thus earth be gone and heavens bliss await
All the pilgrims at the gate...

The Wandering Soul
Over hills I walk,
All tongues I talk.
Rivers I crossed,
Pennies I tossed.
and Life goes on.

With women I slept,
Streams of tears I wept.
Silken robes I wore,
Innocent hearts I tore.
and Life goes on.

Every corner I went,
Till my back was bent.
With every sun I watched,
A stick my hand clutched.
and Life goes on...

Solidified
Solidified

Wanting of a heart, passion in eyes,
Our love that blossomed at first sight,
Every melody that I got at a price,
If only he could have construed me right,
the wandering soul would have been solidified !

Evolution
Man.
a creation,
a wandering soul,
always exploring the unknown,
absorbent to anything but truth,
yet willing to fight for lies ,
not caring who lives or who dies.

His pride and opinions are his downfall,
for pride goeth before a fall,
refusing still to bend knees,
giving glory unto thee,
the only truth,
one creator,
God....

Premium Member Show Me the Divine Path
How should I navigate my days, facing myriad obstacles,
In a world where countless paths beckon a wandering soul?

My spirit finds itself adrift, praying for divine guidance,
As my vessel rocks on the tumultuous seas, seeking the true course.

Untangle my heart's desires, seek tranquility's grace,
Remind me, arrival empty-handed, departure's embrace....

Proud Mary
From deep in the current it comes out of the river…
the Mississippi
the Mersey
 Blue Danube
and Nile

The music living in the spirit of its flow…
the Blues
the Classics
the Tribal
and Jazz

Its waters a baptism for the wandering soul…
 listening
searching
hoping
and praying

Finding ourselves in the rhythm of its passing…
heartened
enlightened
rebirthed
and set free

For Gary Moore
for gary moore...

...ain't nothing but the blues

talkin' sweltering licks

screaming through flaming hues

reaching deep, deep into that wandering soul

of devilish chords on those walkways of paris

strutting and strumming, never taking a mere stroll

so though your time here and now may be up

and though your moments here and now may be through

forgive me for borrowing your words again

cos' we still got the blues for you......

Whispers of Immortality
He could paint the air and draw the winds.
Of course that brief eulogy
was only spoken after his demise;
while alive he was often considered a clod and a bore.
Foreseeing no such post-mortem fame
he kept writing on water
knowing that there was an archive of his works
in an after-life waiting to be discovered
by his wandering soul.
In the meantime, ducks quacked, geese honked
and the little birds in his still beating heart
twittered on....

Spirit of a Child
She’s walking the streets, alone again,
Her broken heart has known nothing but pain.
She cannot feel the falling rain or sun,
Unwanted child, she has no place to run.
A wandering soul alone in the dark,
She hides in the trees of an empty park.
Just watching children leave the way they came,
When their mother gently calls out their name.
And no one comes to take her safely home,
So once again through the night she must roam.

Help Me
Take me in your fold For I am a wandering soul A soul fed up of its fleshy case Caught in such a prison It yearns for free air It yearns to be cleansed It yearns to repent It yearns for thy grace Lift me up ,for its now high time Help me, O my Allah To gather these withered ends To surrender to thy will Heed the cries of this shackled soul Help it to fly in the mystic air To whirl on the mystic tune To feel what it is,to be near you…

Comfort Zone
Oh wandering soul, when will you cease
When will your seeking be sated
Or will you be fated to roam
From home to empty home
To wind up alone
Will you one day catch the dancing breeze
And will your fleeting heart flee
To that safest of havens
Where your free to just be
And in that place shall you find
That peace thats so hard to find
May you calm your racing mind
And in a moment of suspended time
Enjoy the glorious bliss
Oh wandering soul
Of all that you missed....

Premium Member Soul Whisperings
Amid the whisperings of my wandering soul,
I grasped at straws,
reaching for truth,
but finding none.
Searching for one good man,
but discovering Him gone.
Seeking wisdom,
while gaining only knowledge.
Needing elevation to some higher plateau,
while on an escalator rushing nowhere.
Striving to attain the unattainable with works.
Unable to control my simplest situation,
from my souls depth, in desperation , cried I.
"Please Lord, save me, a sinner"...
