Heavens Bliss

I often dreamed of the lofty place
Where my wandering soul would rest in grace
Where peace like a long lost friend
Would lie upon my wasted breast
And the   smile of an innocent child 
Carved deep into my wearied face
Thus earth be gone and heavens bliss await
All the pilgrims at the gate
