Life Story

This is my story,
a lot of fiction and dream,
its float on the rim like the cream,
that hides the real dish that is just a little.

The Pages of My Life

My heart
My soul
My eyes
My hurt and pain
My story
These are the pages
From my life and
I found the answers
In your sweet glory, lord

Irony of My Story

How ironic is my sad story
After enabling their glory
Finding my errors and folly
Is what they now seek in fury
Zenith this is in daggers gory

Diary

These pages know my name
They know my story
They know my pen
All
My secrets
Holding them;
Like I hold yours

Reliably,
Your
Personal diary

My Story

In my dream I worked really hard,
I was hurt yet fought back.
I felt pain, saw progress, and heard praise.
I conquered my fear and won the battle.

My Story

I flipped a page
And saw my face
A page that would have been a mirror
If I held my face
I flipped another
And saw my words
Digging deep to tell my story

Ornament of Love

Maybe it's me,
But my pages are flipping
Towards the end of my story book
And a new one is about to open
With hands drawn in pair
With bracelet around it both.

Ode To the Side

On cloud nine,
In muscled arms,
You listen to me,
You left your mark,
In the bark,
That is my skin,
Scars and markings,
Speak my story,
You’re a brief part of it all.

Letters To a Muse

You are-

Every line;
Every word
The tip of my pen;
Every thought in my head

You are my poetry;
Part of my soul
Included in my story;
An excerpt of my prose

Surreality

I'll tell you my story
of my yesterday

and sometimes it's gory
and I'm in a haze

Some of it's true
or what I need to say

beyond the limits of you
in a much deeper way

My Hand

My Hand

My hand has planted many trees so the world could breathe

My hand has written down the truth so others could believe

My story is a silent one so I am free to leave

JESUS Gets The Glory

Jesus gets the Glory
For he knows my story
I am grateful to be alive.
I've survived.

Praises upon thee
He knows all about me
Jesus's love is unconditional
For I am a miracle.

At Peace In My Soul

I’m searching for peace
In my soul
So when I close my eyes
I will be at ease
For my story
Is full
Of broken dreams and sadness
And I need to be
At peace to rest easily.

I'm just a junkyard dog.
Old scars tell my story.
I'm left water and scraps.
Alone in the dark I sleep
and dream of a better life
and love with es
I smell beyond fences.
Love is just out of reach.

The Encourager

“Although I am leaving, God will provide
the Spirit of truth to come as your guide
     revealing my glory
     as you tell my story,
the Encourager there right by your side.”

Super Stardom

Super stardom is where I want to be
into the bright lights and oversea
Telling my story as I reach my dream
Nothing will be possible without my team
As I walk toward the light
Stardom is so, so bright

All I Want

All I want is
A teaspoon of light
A dropper of delight
To cease seeing the world in shades of grey
To hold a hand that is not my own
To speak to the universe
To tell my story to the sky
It's all I want

Story Telling

My story begins as all others,
jealousy, love, failure, success,
enlightenment, struggle,
happiness and despair.
As the leaf turns revealing-
the end, my tale.
Has more to be told.

Oh wait I forgot the bard...

When December comes, I shall be lying on a tropical beach
Watching laden freighters traverse the warm Gulf stream waterway
I know hundreds will be reading my story in the tabloids

I'M No Fool

I met a man today
Who said he's trying to help me
He wanted things to go my way
Time he had not for me
       Things I needed to say
If he had heard my story
Now I know, he wouldn't care anyway
