Poignant Reflections

I watch you in my deepest despair
Falling from all you know and care
A life of uncertainty
Slowly driven down hill
Now my hands are tied
In vain, I cry
My tears fill
Pools to
Swim

Things To Say, Sights To See

i have so much
to say yet
no one will
listen

i have so much
to see yet
no one will
show me

my hands are tied
and my mouth is
glued shut

what a conundrum
how unfortunate

A Simple Hello Would Suffice

look around, look around closely
there are things in this world that are gold or just yellow
Choose what you like but to me
your name has a hidden symphony with mild or mellow
tonight I drink to grief
as my hands are tied if you can't whisper a simple hello.

Voices

You can hear the voices?
You can hear the choices?
The distant echoes
of the lows
and highs
of the skies.

Keep close my friend.
Remember the messages you used to send?
My hands are tied
and my voice then sighed.
The screams sounded
and left me dumbfounded.

Elsewhere

YOU CANNOT BREAK THROUGH
MY PRECIOUS ARMOR
MY HANDS ARE TIED
BEHIND MY BACK
MY LIPS ARE SEALED
AND MY HEART IS BROKEN
HALFWAY BETWEEN HERE AND THERE
I FOUND NOWHERE
AND HELD IT CLOSE
AND KISSED ITS CHEEK
I'VE BEEN GONE
FOR A MILLION YEARS
AND I DON'T THINK I'LL MAKE IT BACK
IN TIME FOR SUNDAY.

In Him Can Peace Be Found

My hands are tied
My heart is bound
For the love of my dear Jesus
Only in Him can peace be found
The Lord says search your heart
And you will find Me there
With arms opened wide
He'll hold you with great care
Peace shall come to you dear friend
Abundance in one's life
"Hold on to me" dear Jesus said
Hold Me close, so close, so tight

Write With No Hands

My hands are tied so I write with my mouth,
if my mouth was gagged I'd have to go south,
and I expect that would get more views than this poem,
I'll leave you with that image cus I've gotta be going,
it's wonderful when the ink starts flowing,
I get like this when the sun starts glowing,
as though a small part of me just starts growing

Battle Lines

This is one fight you must face alone
the battle lines you have drawn
the secrets you keep bought this conflict
no one can save you from what must be done
prepare yourself for it is at your door they will come
mercy they know none
your chance for espace has passed
lay down your arms
for no single person can fight an army
my hands are tied
you must do what is right

Incomplete

Don't ask me please,
because please I can't do.
My rubber backbone,
will only cheat you.

I'm a lonely disease,
I'm the cold in the breeze,
I'm on my knees,
my hands are tied,
and I've tried.
I've tried, I tried, I tried, I tried.
I've tired out,
I've died out,
incomplete.

Don't give me a headache,
it will last all week.
My bleeding feet,
need to hit the street.

I Love You

Superman's returned
To save the day
Take me away
from this crazy insane
Way of life
Has it died?
As it seems I am dreaming
My hands are tied
Now I'm screaming
Cuz you lied
We're not the best friends ever
Now I'm cryin
Given you it all
I'm done tryin
My back's against the wall
Are you saving me?
What if I fall?
Are you reaching out?
I'm in heaven above
Are you calling out?
"I love you"?

You'Re

You're the ocean and the tides
Swaying me from side to side
You knew I couldnt swim
But you took me for a ride
With the craziness of your waves
Now Im drowning and smiling
I dont want to be saved

Its a feeling i cant describe
But i cry and die a little inside
With your every touch
Im a captive my hands are tied
To the craziness of your waves
Now im drowning and smiling
Please I dont want to be saved

Last Thoughts

Indeed my hands are tied
in the semblance of a ring
and then what once
I thought I knew
now I only think
Around again, perfect circle
the words to which we speak
make manic paths
around the 'round
'til then and only think
The eyes don't lie
but, some are blind
to what they want to see
So, see the mirror, reflected tears
that fall, but not too deep
So walk away,
to then come back
only the stranger of you
lost in thought
I can only think
of what I once knew

Dad's Aching Heart

The door closes and I walk away,
Wholeheartedly knowing, I'd much rather stay.

But my hands are tied, and my heart is broke,
How can this be happening, is it some kind of joke?

Get in my truck to try and leave,
But the only thing moving are the tears on my cheek.

It's just a few days and then we're back together,
Some do it with ease but die I would rather.

The pain, the hurt, it all makes me sad,
Son's it's not my choice to leave, please know that. Love Dad.

Perfect Daughter

They all call me crazy. But I’m not
I say nothing, but I want you to stop.
Stop stop stop
I scream in the shower
Then I get out
Nothing happened nothing happened
I’m fine so fine, can’t you see?
But there’s tear stains on my cheeks.
I can’t say how I’m feeling
You don’t listen, you never do.
Sometimes I wish that I was heartless just like you.
But I feel to deeply
And love to much
Just want
I can’t say I can’t say
My hands are tied
Im afraid im afraid
