Limbo
The words I mean to say, the rhyme
as thoughts do insurrect, as to divine
the love I share, the courage that was mine
is often missing what the sense entwines.

If I do love you, sometimes hollow twine
is all my heart can muster up to line
and so the grace that heaven gives in sign
is muted by comparison, I find ~

And love tht once did merit grace in kind
now errors, as in limbo . . . . . undefined!...

Untitled
The love I thought was real, was all just a lie.
The look in my eyes, I just wanted to die.
Hearts get stolen, mended then broken.

Please don’t leave, he’d muster up to say,
Even though he hurt her each and every day.
Then she’d be torn in two again.

When you love, must you always lose?
The already broken heart has to choose.
What’s best for you, or best for me…

Choose your own ending to this sad story....

Premium Member Precious Foot Cradles
It was a sad day, when I had to toss them;
my favorite pair of sports shoes.
Like an old, comfy friend,
we walked and played together;
until the linings were worn clean through, to the leather.
Still, I held onto them; my precious foot cradles.
When the day came to toss them,
cracked soles, leaking rain water onto my feet;
I worked hard to muster up the courage,
to place them in the trash
and my feet mourned their loss....

Rock Bottom
Remembering where you are and have been
Others may not see when you are struggling
Crying in the dark laughing in the morning
Knowing the strength that it has taking you

But there were times when you lost strength
Others tried to help you for you to shun them
The struggle you were facing were your alone
Those mountains were not insurmountable
Once you saw that you could start climbing
Made you muster up a life renewing strength...

Sucker Punch a Lover's Lunch
Sucker punch a lover's lunch
After he's eaten your heart
Knock it out
With your words
Let him know when he is hated

Take it back along with your wrath
When you change your mind
Hold him near
Tell him he's dear
And show him that you love him

Kick his ass with mental jabs
When you're pissed again
Passion's up
And passion's down
Just ride the tidal wave

Sucker punch a lover's lunch
Muster up a lover's lust
Muster up a lover's lunch
But never sucker punch a lover's lust...

Serenity
Family and friends, being thoughtful

 not vengeful. Something's you

cannot change, it's not you holding

the reigns. We can ask God for the

knowledge and strength to muster up

the courage. To change things for the

better for ourselves and others. We

must not be mad and rash, because it's

only a personality clash. Not everyone

gets on all of the time, yet it's no ones

crime. We can choose to put things aside

and look to the brighter side of life....
