Rogue
Can’t get rid of it,
stiff grey miscreant on top,
a rogue hair from Hell!...

Miscreant
Cautiously stepping onto the slate grey staircase to nowhere
I confronted the meandering, menacing miscreant
Only to find out that his conniving knife can’t cut...

A word to know well—
Someone who’s contemptible!
A coward for sure . . .
	Infamous and obnoxious . . .
A miscreant immoral!

This moment of life
Not better than the holler from a smile
It works while she
Is down on her knees
How have I
Gone from Christian to neigh
It seems the simple things
On which we base existence
Will become a miscreant
In this moment of life

GOD SAVE US!!!...

Animal
When describing bad behavior
Or even a law breaker

The worst epithet humans think for those not admirable
Is to place on the miscreant a label of ANIMAL

He's an ANIMAL they'll squeal
As if animal describes an inmate from hell

On this green earth after all the rantings and railings
Never was an animal who behaved with any human failings...

Premium Member Two Sentinels In Winter
two sentinels in winter
watch the frozen wheat field
spy the evil murderer
dragging his innocent victim
Nebraska ground is frozen
two curious crows watch
studying the two-legged miscreant
he shouts his aggravation to the wind
innocent victim is nonmoving
left at the foot of the fence post
two sentinels feel relief
when evil scoundrel leaves...

Premium Member Favorite Mornings
I am an early riser, usually between 4 and 5 a.m.
That's my quiet time for reading, and thinking,
And sometimes writing.
I especially enjoy it when,
After a pre-dawn shower,
I can look out my window and see,
In the apricot light of dawn,
To the spattering applause of rain,
The miscreant predatory night
Being borne reluctantly away
In manacles of rainbows.

Miscreant Leaders
Breaking ground, well trodden path,
boiling cauldron of troubles past.
Injecting theories, humanities veins,
cryptic messages to dispatch.
Puzzling pieces, testing fit,
exploit emotions, effects are best.
Impel the masses, blind ignorance,
dismiss dissenters from public view,
construct the stories, elected few.
Orchestrate, a mind control,
obedient throngs, the unstated goal....

MISCREANT

Black sheep with smooth skin jumping jubilant.
Grey goat running leaping dancing vibrant.
                                   Both making fool,
                                    having no wool,
                      chewing paper, tearing books: Miscreant.

Gratifying Moon
Steely, stealthy moon
Sculpted milky dune
Sparkling silver spoon
Sitting in its cosmic shoon
Free-floating gaseous balloon
Diviner of the celestial room
Crevasse holds fabled man in spittoon
Residual sunlight doth carefully prune
To sailors on the high seas a boon
Beacon for nocturnal creatures to croon
Harbinger to vixen, villain, buffoon
Cover for miscreant, spinster and poltroon...

Colonoscopy
Colonoscopy

Colonoscopy,
strikes dread. It’s not too bad - when
Colon trouble free.

Jules Verne-like travel,
up your arse, spelunking through
strange, pink-ridged caverns.

Hunting for the snark,
or boojum, or polyp, who
feasts, darkly, in there.

Snipety-snap - jaws,
polyp-snatch; dragging from view,
miscreant tissue.

Pathology dock -
destined. Tried in the morning,
suspected malign.

Tried.. judged innocent.
Callooh! callay! It vanished
softly — my boojum....
