Minutiae
A goose egg of gold,
Six lambs in a fold,
The coconut fell from its tree.
A pet, granite rock,
It's thirteen o'clock,
The mountain slid into the sea....

Enamored
I love you from the curves
                 of your body,
                  to the recondite of
                   your soul,
                 and the minutiae
                 oddity
                 of your mind... !
                 i love you
                 enthusiastically !...

In Progress
Overseeing the union of me and you
Ceremony ministers with vested powers
A marriage of hearts and the bond of virtue
Fortuitous meeting of flawless prowess
Sanctified wedlock of honor and beauty
Blessings in future spawned from within
Happiness substitute selfish minutiae
Rooted in happiness as we begin...

Is Missing You - Forever

I ask as I pull my hand from the telephone
a beautiful morning, I rush to tell you.
the pink iris has bloomed
I must remember to tell you,
all of life minutiae we savoured as friends
are stored on the top shelf
in the airing cupboard.
each time, I tell you,
I lovingly store it in the pink box,
for later....

Premium Member Dreams Come
White upon fog upon snow upon dreams,
dreams upon snow upon fog upon white.

Dreams come, as if the minutiae of day
are merely a prelude to night vision.

It is kin to the sun but it is not the sun,
its light is not golden and it does not warm.

His left hand is under my head,
his right hand does embrace me.

Deb'rah slew the heart of her enemy
as the prophecy foretold....

Forget-Me-Not
In minutiae, a time encapsulated world,

lies buried beneath my feet

A seedling responds to the earthly beat.

Vague in it's outline it steadily grows

Seeking the barrier, somehow it knows

Soil crumbling surface no longer retains

Joyously emerging into sunlight and

proclaims itself

Blessed little forget-me-not

Upturned face, hidden eyes of blue.

In simplistic innocence comes smiling through....

Premium Member Prose Poem Immediacy
A birthing moment from the fog that surround, blissful, momentary experiences from a higher radiance, caught, captured and considered. This power to inspire never ceases, breathes in the minutiae of life, where we may be trapped. All or nothing or not at all. This perceptive observation, the now immediacy of wordless lines can recapture the moments of love or suffering and imprint our page to become an epitaph,a footnote in history as we allow faith to inform our work....

Premium Member I Bruise Easily
Don’t get too close
I might shut you out,
don’t talk bout love
I might add more bricks
to the chamber that shields my heart,

The fragile foundations
of my ability to love without fear
can crumble at any moment
the warning sign says fragile heart
protected at all costs,

I don’t love easy,
for fear of being hurt,
to unravel the minutiae of my heart
you might leave me exposed,
remember that I bruise easily,

So be gentle with me,
be gentle with this heart of mine …...
