This is great for poetry reading.
would start out so weak
then he had a great physique
unique at its peak
Young Malcolm was meek, rarely riled,
asking for korma, quite mild,
they all thought him nice,
until ordering rice,
that was where Malcolm went wild.
Bold is a word untamed.
While meek is silent and ashamed
Both quite diverse,
and yet create a universe
That lives in there, acclaimed.
Bless you my child who is so meek and mild,
Instead of wild and defiled who had beguiled;
A darling dear,
We want near,
So many more great poems she compiled.

Have a blessed birthday, Roselyn,
God's child is as meek as a sheep;
He always stays away from sin,
For it is his promise to keep.

Meek Low Will Speak
What I have always heard about the meek;
Always sound so low when they will speak;
Are all alone;
Sadness has shown,
While weather was both cloudy and bleak.

I hear the trees
Whisper in the leaves
As she wrestles with the breeze
Gently standing free
Tempest passes over thee
Those standing claim victory
So God gave them the earth
And they smiled amogst the company
Calm and peace they´ll be

Seek meekness

Seek meekness
Keep your promise and be of joyfulness
Seek meekness
I am a geek for faithful blissfulness
Seek meekness
Be meek, not a prideful man of madness
Truth has a way
To heal and stay
Love is the gift
Which joy now lifts
Vain is the man
Who lives no plan
Watch what you say
For you must pay
Thoughts that you feel
Can curse or heal
Look deep within
Beyond the din

The humble soul has self respect
Treat others how you would choose be treated
The apple falls from the tree
for you to take freely - the tree giving
There is a courteous respect
when you look to another - inferior to those around you
holding yourself in lesser importance
and not centred on self

Hawaii, Where The Meek Is Obsolete
When within a unicameral state,
Where there is no reasonable debate,
Whether you vote all yea,
Whether you vote all nay,
Why ask if a communist-styled dictate?

Howmanysyllables;
10, 10, 6, 6, 10
Thirst for love aflame in our heart
Erst stirrings of lust receded
Burst of bliss each moment does start
First things first, lower mind weeded
Residual attachments fade
Central funnel within aglow
Brutal clear truth; call spade a spade
Miracle dawns on hearts mellow

Crying a river
I need humility bad
Sky’s not the limit
My past self — dismal
The present moment’s vital
Now, I stand so tall
Earnest prudence shine
Like the autumn moon at night
Tonight, you’ll be mine…
I need to humble self
I want to not be prideful
Me, myself, I — no . . .
Yes to happiness
No more negativity
Not more, but less…
Wherever You are living God
I want to live with You
Whenever You call to me
I'll come running straight to You
Wherever You are preaching
I'm receiving Your great love
Because You are my Savior
All day long I want to be Your child
Like baby Jesus in the manger
He slept there meek and so mild
Guide me along life's path
Never may I feel God's wrath
Ledger the Greek
Was on a endless wining streak
Until that fateful day
His luck rode away
Taking with it his son
Totally eclipsing the sun
Now Ledger the Greek
Lives out the price of a wining streak
Welcome to the ranks of the meek
Here are the house rules
You're allowed to gesture
Just for heavens sake
Don't speak
Turn your pages
I refer you back to the 1st commandment to the meek
If its the truth you seek
Essence of self existent presence, pristine and illumined is unimpacted by the veils of delusion borne darkness surrounding identity for the onus is on the ego resident within mind body to align itself with divine love in surrendered stillness to experience and imbibe the elixir of ineffable rapturous bliss unendingly radiating from the source.

We are our own tormentor
The door is open
Into the carnage
He came.
Beautiful,
Aloof, noble.
Pure of heart.
All around him
Fear shouted.
His fellows,
Crazy in panic
Losing hope.
He stood his ground
against the brutality.
He stood proud, unafraid.
He brought
comfort to the
condemned.
A light in the darkness
To be sacrificed
BRAVE
I dedicate this poem to all the horses who faced fear and suffering in the First World War. Beauty amongst the carnage.
Two were killed that day
One on top of Calvary hill
The other on a tree
At the bottom of the dell.
The first became the King of Heaven
The second passed into Hell.
To one we pray to save our soul
The other we pray never to meet
Even when we are done and old.
Yet if this tale be true
The second one is easily met
In our broken world’s encircling net
The second his face we have to seek
Hidden in the crowds of the meek.

Orange zest does invite us to fest
Another year of angst and anguish
How they more enviable are lavish
But pleasure in abundance-hence we
Were duly flattered by God’s approval
Removal from authority for one day
All our fears and anxiety at bay
Turkey heaven-little Tim only seven
Give him his joyous occasion-teen spirit
To the table without much persuasion
Blissful being-how the angels do sing
of our battle through the year, our tidings are
nearly here
THE MEEK
wild horses trained for service
ridden until their will is broken
compliant complete and grafted
Jesus said the meek are blessed
implying humility and gentleness
submission untamed or identified
God-willed rule denied incomplete
where are we on meekness scales
God not implying timid and weak
but humble compliant and broken
eternal peace He promised the meek
