Premium Member Mark His Words
Marc Antony's funeral oration
Masterpiece of shrewd persuasion
  Igniting sundry Romans' fierce desire
To douse 'noble Brutus' life with fire...

Blood Oath
The knife edge of verse…
a verbal incision,
whose sharpness cuts both ways

Its blood groove runs heavy
with truth dripping free
—to mark the words unsaid

(Villanova Pennsylvania: September, 2020)...

Invisible Ink
Unbury my hearts secret
With the scroll of a pen
Engrave my darkest thoughts
On a haunted page
Scarred by the rapture
Of a scorned soul
Look openly
Only your eyes can see
Mark my words
With invisible ink...

Premium Member Mark Twain's Words I Choose
Sentenced to jail for running a multi-million dollar donation fraud
Rabbi Yisroel Goldstein, feigning piety, abused congregants' trust in God

I'll rely on Mark Twain, whose wise words I now choose
As he pithily said, "Never judge Judaism by the Jews."...

Burial
Once upon the dark
walking in the fields
Mark my words
The blind confusion of life
Peaceful walking
Paying your last respects
One by one they pass me by
When I consider my disillusionment
When your time is close at hand
light causes strange illusions
Just remember be strong...

Mark My Words
Free from me, this gnawing Aggression;
To soften my Heart, concretely hard
Trampled under the Wheels of Progression-
Which have left me disfigured- scarred!

Via vox, I vow a pox,
Pour my hatred in unwav'ring Will
Mark my words, I shan't be stopped!
(But oft' my Hopes fall unfulfilled...)...

A Daddy's Christmas
Christmas cards and credit cards
and lists of much to plenty.
It's choking Daddy half to death.
They think I'm made of money.

Give me this and I want that.
It's more than I can do.
All the money in the world
is never enough to suit.

So I'll tell you what I'm gonna do!
  Just You Mark My Words!
I'll bow my head
   shut my mouth
and go quietly back to work....

Markings
Markings

Mark my body with scars and bruises
Mark my words with tired excuses
Mark my lesson with teaching that confuses
Mark the walls with names of duties
Mark the people with rules of judges
Mark the thoughts with questions of ages
Mark the sentence with words on ancient pages
Mark the very possibility that nature changes
Mark the World on which our future stages...

You are craving for me I know,
Settling for dust even on snow .
Stop already ,I am coming you know .
All packed are swords ,
Peppered with rage of sorts .
You are to loose ,mark my words .

South has eyes lurking ,
With talks poaching ,
For the suderland cee who knows no revenge.
All ready are their booggy traps ,
So is east, the mother of whammie raps .
I was once on laps ,
Now relax .
I wont trip or relapse ....

Impertanance
My instincts say, evolve,
My instincts say, resolve,
They whisper in my genes
Keep moving, there because

Question everything, they say
I think that’s what I hear
Reproduce, your coded self
All that you hold dear

Me that’s just another way
Differentiate my quest
Dreadnaught or an open hand
Conscientiousness at best

Mark these words
To comfort
Belay a story told
Who would doubt their impulse?
Who would be so bold?

You Belong To Me
how can you be furthered with my understanding, without reading the words that i say,
remembrance and knowledge are a given to you every time you read and pray,
i mark my words down in your heart, they pertain to what you do,
the pain is erased with every trial you face, or every struggle you go through,
it will keep you steady and solid, balanced in love and standing,
my love will give u soundness of mind, with me there's no misunderstanding....

Premium Member THANKFUL FOR WISDOM
Today I’m thankful for wisdom
And for I yield to the wisdom of two brains…
Mary Catherine Bateson (Margaret mead’s daughter)
And, who else, but Mark Twain….

Mary Catherine Bateson said, realizing wisdom must be earned
“We are not what we know but what we are willing to learn.”

And I remember Mark Twain’s words
whenever I think I know all the things I need to know:
‘It’s not what we know that gets us in trouble
It’s what we know for sure…that just aint so.

Spend a bit extra
receive a little more
In life’s cutthroat sale
and thrifty superstores

No free dinners
It’s all in your head
For each slice gained
the rest gets no bread

Gives back a cent
keeping all the rest
Huge ponzi schemes
pay crumbs as interest

Always leave tips
they go a long way
Bosses can pay less
and make tons of hay

Mark these words
or use a highlighter
By omitting fullstops
save ink for the writer

Nonsense feeders, just useless
Impeders, slow and lazy in a walk
To cake, sluggish decievers wasting
Space; even though theres plenty of
It they still waste it we're sure of it
Coulden't they be in canary yellow?
So all could avoid the stupid fellows.'
Have they got familiy? Who'd own
These bums, david hurly might be one?
He's quite the lyre-bird we've heard.'

Shameful Abuse
I Wasn't Put in this World
For You to Hurt and Abuse
I Know I'm Here for a Reason
But It's Not to Ignite Your Short Fuse

You Say You Love Me So Much
And Without Me You Have No Life
Well, Something You Should Understand
I Am Not the Enemy I Am Your Wife

You Love Me for Awhile,
Then Something Changes Inside
Your Personality Becomes Ugly
Causing Hurt I Can't Abide

But Mark My Words for Reference
Please Mark Them Very Well
The Day Will Surely Come
When I Say.."You Go Straight to Hell"...

Later
Hang on one second
there's the phone
Wait for me
we'll chat alone

Don't hang up
I'm almost there
Mark my words
I'll come to bare

Hold your horses
I'm not quite done
Almost through
not having fun

One more minute
Should be quick
I'll catch you up
should thing's get thick

Hold that thought
Wait for it
What'd you wager
he'd be twit

Almost done
Not much further
Can't quite make
much of dearther

Hope for time
Not too happy
What'd you say
I call back later?...

Free From Torture
A free soul here to take over the world
Mark my words I will be famous one day
Remember the name Sal F. Manela
So much more that I need to say

A tortured heart with demons personal
I inflict pain so no else can hurt me
The same action comes from the chemicals
But the drug induced life no longer serves me

A spirtitual being free from the shackles
I've experienced things so high I was a god
But I've been so low that evil controlled me
Now I look for guidence from God (not god)...
