Brittle Hands
your brittle hands were once like mallets upon the lace of my youth

Family Conflict
Soft mallets play the xylophone
In comes the low note g on trombone
Two hard mallets add their sound
There's no dry bones around
Soon the sound of a low bassoon
Bongo drum adds its tune
Wind blowing the harsh melody around
Orchestra pitch now the sound
All this floating to the ground
Soon the only thing to be heard
Loud bassoon making its words
Quiet, quite still; one lone note
Bass drum----boom...

Vagabond of Light
Long spider fingers wielding bells
and mallets and chimes,
sounded like what love should be, like astronomy,

Upheaval Nations
Public protracts a meg night of sorrow.
My forebears' screaming intimidates me.
I'm on high alert; catch my spirit growl.
Upheaval nations were met with fury.
Whiners pelted with mallets left dreary.
Police detained civil rights advocates.
Despotism bears loads worrisome ailments.
Anyone opposing the reins is held.
Each note is judged by a team of experts,
Most of them seem to be wholly ignored.

WORD-SMITH
As we forge all-over
Burning words like silver
Pouring inks like lava
Blasting papers like rods
Gripping pen like swords
Battling wrought like gods
Considering the rallies
Even in the Abyss
Amidst the bees
Till our mallets make hit
Till the anvils shape it
Till purpose feel the heat
To all the writers sweating...
Don't stop writing...
Wordsmiths keep forging...
