He
looks on
with glasses.
In the distance,
the faces are blurred
and it only
magnifies
his deep
loss

Fantasy,
is the garment we wear
day by day...
dreams feed
the reality and we
free from common, strengthen
our reality...
the hallucination of
being clay hallucinates us,
but the reality of being
soul...
magnifies us, cheers us up...!

Step out of the shadow of doubt cast by fear,
Love has no shadow,
Where there is love there is no darkness,
Ego of self blocks the light of the divine,
Knowledge of self magnifies divine light,
Radiate so others may seek the light,
Shine to follow the path before you.

The dance of the trees in the never ceasing breeze
The song of the stream magnifies the scene
A blanket of green as earth slopes and leans
The serenity of a rooftop in the middle of tree tops
The shadows grow long as I listen to the songs
The mountains rise and my heart sits on high

I do not know?
When creating when speaking just be real,
credibility is what draws us in;
A glow magnifies and brightens your zeal,
if you fall just wear a confident grin;
In the end what matters is how you feel;
Dare to be yourself and harbor thick skin;
Never think about accolades or scorn,
letting the mission boom toot your own horn.

I lie and smile gently
while the pictures of a woman who lives in my heart
float before my eyes,
each picture only magnifies the beauty of her face,
her body,
her mind,
holding her love is a treasure,
feeling her soul is a gift,
always grateful that I will feel the honor of knowing dear Eva

Like stars that burn bright and then explode,
Thy magnificence goes never untold;
as Thine otherworldly glory and face
shine on all things, all time and all space;
and give their light to each and every one,
O Thou foretold and true, prophesied Son;
creation magnifies Thee every hour,
for it exists with Thy strength and power!

He says avoiding and giving in magnifies and expounds by ten. Troubles that is, if we don’t face them. “You haven’t been where I am,” someone says.
He answers back, “Look at the sorrow in my eyes. Look at my scars. I have suffered like any man. I am the Lamb, but I am also the Lion. You are Lions. And what are Lions? That’s right – mean sonsab****es.”

Narrative
Again is a foolish animal
Being led to the slaughter.
Again, Man. By this, war-times'
Ogrous corral-master.
This is its devouring site.
Quag's miasmic, pounds, heaves
Through which patriotic ritual
A blood sacrifice receives.
Tame herds, firstly driven mad.
Perversely made to appear
To sprout a horn; devilish tail;
Magnifies the other's fear.

Morgenstern
Oh, in the dark at eveningtide
Brightness beams so near to Earth
And Venus magnifies it’s light
An evening star to greet the night
But afore the sun will greet the day
A tiny glow will show the way
Up in the east the glimmer dims
A blast of sun obscures it’s being
A Good morning Morning Star

a glass magnifies
small lapdog
butterfly
landing perfectly
on a flat nose
the glass pushes detail
into a wide eye
the picture is a thumbnail
maximum enlargement
knocks over it digital frame
the butterfly
is mottled yellow and brown
a stand-out contrast to
the black nose
a background
is a female hand in mid-flight
we are all caught

Sleepless I listen,
a muted winter magnifies
the slightest sound.
Snow falling,
snow walking over snow,
snow speaking -
wordless
as it plays a stringless harp.
Whispers of peace and death,
still night,
an ice sculptured air.
When dawn slips into
its many coated reality,
this silent symphony;
the unread simplicity
of falling snow
will have to bury its tongue.

Genuine love adds value to lives that cherish, welcome, water, nurture, nourish it and furnish a conducive environment for its germination, growth and its development into a nugget that both lives require for its fuller realization and deployment in two hearts on fire, imbued with the right chemistry at the right time and in the right place.
Sublime love caresses
kisses, blesses, elevates
edifies, magnifies.

I sat and watched two little boys die,
on my TV screen last night.
I sat and watched as each in turn,
lost his uneven fight.
They died from something we don't fear,
they died because they were poor,
they died from pneumonia brought on by diarrhoea,
which for us is so easy to cure.
I will never forget their mothers cries,
or the anguish of their faces,
once more their reality magnifies,
the inequalities between our races.

miracles move mysteriously
midst faith's momentum...
my life of mirth against misery
molded by God* so mighty
marked with His wondrous mercy
magnifies such marvel
*Psalm 77:14 - Thou art the God that doest wonders: thou hast declared thy strength among the people.

Alliteration
LAST HURRAH OF THE MELTING SNOWHEAPS
Glisten you snow heaps.
Coruscate your last
In this sun.
For listen - you show
Signs of fading fast.
The sun which now magnifies your import
Will tomorrow bleed you to nothing:
And you will be an ill-recalled memory
In the far off sunny days of spring
………………………………………………………………………………
NOTE
Ever watched a melting snow heap
draining its life in rivulets of jewels like liquid diamonds?

Free verse
It's too late, she's gone
She packed her love and left me
Alone with just her tears
To punctuate the hurt
Sacred vows were shattered
A trusting heart betrayed
Remnants of my promises
Torn, discarded
Silence magnifies my pain
Deceit my one companion
Mocked by my indiscretion
Immersed in despair
It's too late, she's gone
She packed her love and left me
And my only treasures are
The fortunes of a fool
