Dressed in bright red, standing proud
Feathers flapping bright, magnificently loud
Chirping, composing a love song
Take notice, in a flash he'll be gone
Happily feasting on seed all alone
Brown feathers appear, she's at his throne
the artist’s strokes were magnificently slashed onto a canvas
inspired by his girlfriend, a free spirited woman
whose love of nature and color
brought his art to fruition
she had added such joy to his life
and now to his life’s work

So many terms for what we agree

You' re powerful and endless,
creative and destroying,
magnificently wonderful.
Around you I am stunned.
My soul is shining with many colours of your light.
You give us life
and life is you!
The words are sat in silence.
My love ,my truth.
The tree looked magnificently gaudy.
I gave and received some offbeat gifts.
Some were expected; others highly inappropriate.
We snacked on strange potato chip dip and orange chocolate.
Baby Jesus was covered in tinsel, ribbons, and the aroma of honey-dipped ham.

A QUESTION OF STYLE
a sovereign
literary
occurrence
magnificently
survival
of
inner
values
now
rediscovered
heyday
prospering
creations
inwardly-looking
characteristics
ecstatic
fragrant
synaesthesia
of
simultaneous
senses
initiated
possibilities
a feast of memories
behind my eyes
memories rich
memories hard
empty rooms
cold winter chill
the lights may
fade away
when times were
spent with love
and warmth
are but faded
images in my
heart
alone, as always
I knew
alone
so perfectly alone
so magnificently
perfectly
desperately
alone.
The dazzling exquisite sunrise had captured me to stare
pumpkin, orange, tangerine and amber of bright glare
I recall the tiger sprawl that burned the skyline vast
How the break of day lit up to reminisce the past
Now sky is dark and with no spark though memory of morn
Magnificently glorious today it was at dawn.
As the lowering sun
