Cold milk and a couple
Chewy Macaroons or
Chocolate Chip. Maybe
Cherry Thumbprints and then
Crispy Florentines, or
Caramel Biscotti?
Crikey! I'll take them all!

Flowers in chocolate-drizzled waffle cones,
Wrapped in a bouquet of such satiny gold;
Filled with the scent of rosemary scones,
As well as macaroons with colors so bold....

Island Home
I have a mermaid soul
silently an eloquent dreamer
bathing in summer water
cultivating the spirit of island songs
while feeling comfortable
on the inside of my blue bungalow
enticed by the glorious ocean treasure
and scents of hibiscus like coconut macaroons...

Premium Member Pitcher Deals
Pitcher deals.
Center snaps.
Forward volleys.
Captain kneels.
Wing traps.
Road team rallies.
Runner steals.
Driver laps.
Bookies watch at O'Malleys.
Coach jaws.
Goalie paws.
Mothers pray.
Midfielder moans.
Winners eat macaroons.
Fathers look less gray.

Refs tally the time left
'Til the moon rises.
Fans leave, bereft,
Searching for further surprises....

Premium Member Missy Sue
Missy Sue makes malted milk shakes
and she savors marmalade,
macaroons and snickerdoodles
and sweet souffles she has made.

Sue is messy slicing melons,
strawberries and mangoes too.
Sue munches seeds and celery sticks.
She mixes meats, making stew.

Milk chocolate -mouth-watering,
sweet and marvelously mild -
satisfies Missy Sue
mainly if it is Swiss styled!...

Premium Member Sweet Reward
I went to get a bit more done;
Did not intend to stay,
But once begun, turned to such fun,
I could not tear away.

Though some might fret at lots of sweat,
I find that I’m inure,
And though it flows whene’r I row,
I’m drawn to its allure.

When ev’ry inch is nearly drenched,
And there’s not far to go,
I’ll trade doubloons for macaroons
And bask in their sweet glow....

Mothers Menu Mmm
Many memories of my mother
making moist mellow macaroons
marshmallows and Madeira cake,
minuscule madeleines, marvellous,
mum measures, marinates, melts,
more majestic meals.
My matriarch makes,
marmalade,
marzipan,
muffins,
mincemeat,
meringue.
mousse.
My meritorious mom mixes, merges, mingles,
melon,
mango,
mulberries,
Mandarins.
My maternal materfamilias, masterminds
Mealtime masterpieces....

Nebulous Streams Clouding My Brain
I sail on an ocean of custard and jam,

Aboard a ship made of biscuits and bread.

I am the sweet toothed pirate I am,

And clearly not right in the head.

Nebulous streams clouding my brain,

Give me some peculiar thoughts,

I wear a vest made of liquorice sticks,

And a pair of marzipan shorts.

With my motley crew of gingerbread men,

Who are armed to the teeth with balloons,

We go round the world, kidnapping cakes,

While we gorge on sweet macaroons....
