Loveland

I can’t wait to have a love match

With you in a love nest

Surrounded by love-lies-bleeding

Sitting on the love seat

Where we hold a love knot together

And with love beads around your neck

After which we’ll travel down to Love-land

Where we will be joined in a love-in

                    Cat nap, green love seat.
Soft purrs, never skip a beat.
                    Her human's best treat.

Janice's Basset Hound
This dog is so quiet
Bella never barkseats
With her big brown
    eyes
She will stare at you
If you say a treat
She gets excited
Then eats it quickly
When she wants to
     sit
Upon the love seat
She will stare at you
Till you notice her
Taping the cushion
She will quickly jump
Settle down -then nap
She is so content

Patience

When my children were small,
I was patient. I was patient
With my puppies. Eddie chewed
My new couch and love seat.
He laid on the other new one.
Max's favorite chair was Gram's.
Eddie layed in the matching one.
I fixed the arm rests he gnawed.
I'm patient with my grandkids.
A virtue, I'm not sure. No cure.
I get impatient with adults, techno,
And just waiting for life sometimes.

Twilight Love

Shadows in twilight turned to black and white
Inside the house looking out of the window down the street
Waiting impatiently for her future to drive up the driveway

An arched back stretches to infinity
Kneeling over the love-seat with circumventing thoughts
To not spoil the reality of what's to be

Half-naked half-clothed feminine beauty
Waiting for time to start moving once again
And experience love for the first time

Their First Valentine

The Frieman's had their first Valentine
Since they said,”I Do”
Justin and Sarah
Sat upon their love seat
The blaze of the fire near by
Only 103.5 seconds since they had kissed
To long for this young couple
For love runs as deep as the ocean is wide
Valentine means the same for the young and the old
It is a time to remember the one who took your heart away
Weather it’s been months or years love transcends all for just
One day

Escape

a beautiful little mountain retreat
a perfect place to get away
leave our jobs and stress behind
while we make up games to play

pretending we are kids again
laughing and fooling around
kissing on the love-seat
after turning the lights down

snuggling under a blanket
in front of the fireplace
the fire light reflected
on ivory satin lace

talk about a great escape
when you can leave it all behind
and act on all the fantasies
we think up in our minds

No pen for a pocket
No purpose with a pull
No left with a reason
No right with a rule
No lessons on Tuesday
No Wednesday at home
No makes for the model
No data on the phone
No recess like play tag
No fair with a wheel
No loving in a leaving
No steady for a deal
No next with rear view
No backseat like here
No address at Taylor rd.
No love seat like dear
No easy with an answer
No always with a true
No echoes at here that
No misses there but you
