Loathing's' Yoke

Loathing Yokes

Hatred thrives.
Love dies
The heart cries.

Love

Love is a small word
For something that is so vast
That in an instant
Can turn upon a word, a
Glance to loathing and despair
Form: Tanka

American Idol

You had me briefly careening
towards that crooning
but your excessive preening
and secret self-loathing
won an abrupt ending

Silence

Silence, Surrounding me with Darkness, Surrounding me with Loathing, Surrounding me with Silence, Surrounding me…

By Horse of Course

Richard Boone,
Thought Have Gun–Will Travel ended not too soon.
Skilled method acting and riding well hid
A loathing of horses he so deeply did.

An urgent message
to the children of God,
be wary of your loathing!
That person whom you condemn
might very well be
a sheep in wolves' clothing.

Premium Member Loathing Lump

Like loathing
A lump forms in my throat
Like an old lie
To choke on
Again and again
But this time I swear it
I never said I love you
Not until the day I lay dead

Indolence May Induce Innovation

Loathing the mazy, the lazy look around
To spot the shortest of all paths to be found
For the indolence that in him does redound
The lazy man with novelty does abound

Claustrophobic

I can feel the walls getting thicker.
It all closes in, but it’s fine this happens all the time.
A spliff or two keeps away the shivers.
No time for loathing, these walls are by my design

Sweet Catastrophe

Losing it,
All,
Unknowingly stepping into,
Her box,
Enveloped by fear and self-loathing,
I ride onward,
My stallion screams in the night,
Stabbing at the flesh of the stars,
With anguish.

Give In

To wish for pain to take away pain is ironic. Rim filled to the brim with self loathing and
unsertity. I wish to speak of my pain instead of inflicting it upon myself. Oh so tempting to
give in.

Nature's Error

Nature makes the occasional error. She gets migraines which often impair her. Thus, a horrible clump came to be Mr. Trump — spreading loathing, confusion and terror.

Love and Loathing

I love holding you in my arms
Bodies entwined,
Breathing of life and contentment
Together

And as I hold you in my arms
I loathe
That all my mind can do-
Week in the thrall of content-
is Hold you some more.

Self-Loathing

I don’t like much poetry,
as I dislike most modern art,
there is too much fakery, even here,
in these paltry words, the effort
not living up to standards
I set for myself and others, unfairly,
but still bothersome.

===========================

Love without hope must be my calling.
Calling, just hoping to hear it ring.
Ring in hand, near your feet I'm crawling,
crawling with loathing and loving it's sting.

More Evil Than Gods

MORE evil

   than gods &

loathing smiles

while wringing my

hands -- at two-lips

so beveled

  god the martini slog

~ so brutal taking life as

it is and miles to go

before I am useless.

Slammed Shut

slammed shut
closed off from
the bonds
that once
bound the
two hearts
together
forever trapped
in a state of
emotional limbo
never able to
break the chains
that tie up the
soul within a persion
of self-loathing

Wrathful tears ripen shame
and sows conscience-stricken seeds of self-loathing.
Scourged by the storm’s desolate dirge
this flimsy canopy offers no protection
as the wind-driven rain rides roughshod over me.

Pic Motifs- Visual 2

It’s not hooded evenings
Which leaves me desperate
But the alienation from self-esteem -

And no one can trace such loathing
For veil of blindness rips induced apathy.

steady me

i’m weightless in my head
i’m always growing, always dying
i’ll waste it stumbling blind
my vision is blurry and crowded with bitter loathing

i’m ready to be something
i want to be so much more
i’m meant to be alone
that’s all that i’m good for
Form: Rhyme

Anxiety, the Loathing

Stop!
The madness croons
The crushing nothingness of it

Silence!
The buzzard squelchs
The razor wire of loathing emptiness

Cease!
The apprehension glances
The acquittal of the hostage

Expire!
The rising spirit
The bloodied field deserted

Neglect

Muffled cry of inconsequence
My heart feels alone again
Cuff off, neglected
Why are you so far from caring?
Sucked into my soul of despair
So full of the slime of self loathing
Always incredulous of love
It’s so much easier to believe it was never there.
