It gets overlooked 
When the Little Dipper starts to blink

I have a phototaxis response, being; a firefly queen
Attracted to starlight, as is nightly by the little dipper seen.
Some evenings I want to fly straight into the moon’s pleasant beam.
Because I can feel the vibrational energy from his light stream

NIGHT SKY I

night sky
    big dipper
        little dipper
            wet feet
                starry eyes

night sky
    clear as a bell
        shooting star
                        ding!

    moon
        big and orange
            zoom in    zoom away

    gadzillion stars
        midnight express

I harnessed the moon
On a whim and dare
Silk cord long and thin
Held me without care
I rode through the stars
Upon midnight hour
Betwixt clouds and fog
Drizzled rain shower 
Through Capricorn and
Cancer as well
The Big Dipper 
It seemed to swell
Acquarius and Gemini too
Uninterrupted 
The moon and I flew
The Little Dipper so small
Accepted us 
Prevented our fall
The moon and I 
Connected as one
Till the Sun rose
Our ride was done
