Moon
I harnessed the moon
On a whim and dare
Silk cord long and thin
Held me without care
I rode through the stars
Upon midnight hour
Betwixt clouds and fog
Drizzled rain shower
Through Capricorn and
Cancer as well
The Big Dipper
It seemed to swell
Acquarius and Gemini too
Uninterrupted
The moon and I flew
The Little Dipper so small
Accepted us
Prevented our fall
The moon and I
Connected as one
Till the Sun rose
Our ride was done
