In the Midst of a Storm

The snow comes down, the drifts rose up, the winds blew, the trees did not fall, for the forest held them. Like a Mother holds her children in the midst of a storm.

I Choose Life

I stand, inept
on the edge of dreams
Oblivion waits
and darkness, like a mother,
opens her cloak
At the threshold of time
no-one can release you
from yourself
I choose life.

Premium Member Sigh at Dawn

Listen to poem:
In the hushed thrum
between first light
the first bird
the first mist's
touché touch on cheek
the world pauses
to catch its breath
to sigh softly—
like a mother at
her babe's first cry.

White

As the sun has set
And turn the day into night
A clear sky has become dark
Shining white spots appears
Shining stars colours the sky
Like beautiful diamonds far above
So pure and original
Like a mother love
To their child

Baby Face

She cries like a baby,
And whines till she’s held,
She is a baby,
My baby,
My sister,
She cuddles,
Like a mother and her child,
With me.
She drinks milk,
And is cute,
She balances with ease,
Oh my kitty,
I love you so!

Whats In a Name

She carries my name
Like a mother
Carrying a child

Softly speaking
Sort of like a baby walking
On broken glass

When her lips move
Calling out to me
No one speaks

So that everyone
Might hear her
Say my name

Hush…
Please be silent
She’s calling me

Coming As a Cloud and Going

Coming and going as a cloud,

My sweet,

Down pouring-

When I am in thirst,

You are the wind, hugging me when it sweats,

Again tying me up with Sun rays, when it's cold,

In a world no one to take care, yes, where? no other,

You are the caregiver for me like a mother!

I Want To Run

I want to run,
Run through the forest, bare
While the night skies
Envelope me in its dark rags
Letting out the essence of primal man
Once more, un-caged freed to roam
Free to cry laugh until the sun rises
To comfort my troubled soul
Like a “lover”
Like a “mother”
Like……
Death

Sound

The music comes on And all is silent The smooth tone Just like silk It is gentle Like a mother to her child The melody flows easily As though a small brook Gliding through the air Just like a breeze The sound is hypnotizing And its flows all around Trying its best to get those Who listen to the sound

Leaf

Blue skies envelop us
The trees towering into the sky
and here I am
a leaf
drifting in the wind.

Small, curled, and crackly
I float on the breeze.

A zephyr from the west carries me to the coast.
It gently lowers me down
like a mother setting down a child
after a long walk in the park.

I am just a leaf
but I am free.

Hectic Mind

Hectic Mind

Like a weekend
no end
hectic like a busy-business road
up and down
caotic
loaded mind like a full dust bin
hardly unloaded
slow motion
rules the emotion
struggle
hustle
like a mother-bird
food, providing for the little crying kids
busy
is the mind
restlessness dominates
stress rules.

Premium Member Alone In the Dark

I lay here
Alone in the dark
And think of the girl
Who holds my heart
She is like no other
And beauty abounds
With love like a mother
Her body astounds
She the prettiest nicest
Girl that ive seen
So quick with her words
Her mind is so keen
If one thing to say to her
One lonely plea
Come to me baby
And ill get down on one knee

Guatamalan Dress

saw my bluebird girl
in her Guatemalan dress
sunshine in a flash

brighten my whole day
nothing like a mother hen
all her chix about

papa so relieved
that mimi no longer grieves
loss of family

flowers can now bloom
cause we know who hung the moon
2 lil grandbabies!

thank you for teaching
me how to be patiently
waiting over here

My Dearest Friend

“Oh God, why did all this happen
A Blessing such as she
Who travelled the same road
That you had made for me”!

I grew to love her dearly
Like a Mother I believe
But now that she’s with you
I’m alone with only me.

So pass these words along Lord
If only you’ll agree
Tell her that I miss her
And not to ever forget me.

There Is Some Hate Behind Every Pupil

There is some hate behind every pupil-
Hidden by the warm smiles in your eyes.
You shake my Hand with all bliss
And embrace me like a mother-
But there is some evil buried in your thoughts.

The soft sweaty hands
Will soon transform to iron
the very smile to Murder-desire-
Then will I understand
That there was but murder
Cooking in your very veins...

Eye Catcher

There are times That even the moon Catches the eye Taking upon its wounds The healing rays of sunlight Leaving earth in the gloom Of sunless sky turned night. But the earth does not mind For it knows that the moon Will never leave its side It was born to ever be true Like a Mother to her child. Rhyming verse © CarolineCécile - 04.04.12

Invisible

Be there for me like you should be
Don't make excuses for why your not
Call me to see what i'm doing
At least pretend you care alot
Talk to me like i'm your daughter
Not just one of your friends
Treat me like a mother should
But then again,
I have no mother to whom I can depend

Collaborating In the Clouds

I set out in the middle of the night
Unaware of my destination
And up I looked
I saw the itinerant clouds
And suddenly I was followed
Escorted by the clouds
My destiny yet unrevealed
Together we sailed
Hoping to find shelter
She was like a mother-hen
Even though she was Pregnant
And her time to deliver has come
She covered me all along
And I was king of the horizon

Premium Member Isle of Love Ii

like a mother bee
which produces sweet honey
beautiful flowers posses
the sweetest nectar
if your love is a commodity
then i am neither
the buyer nor the seller
for love is precious than silver
you make me comfortable
Others made me inferior
But you made me capable
Sometimes it sad
I ignored you
It makes me feel bad
Why did i act a fool
For your love is true

Here At the Threshold

Here at the Threshold
between Expectancy
and Realization
All that can be said has been said…
And so there’s nothing more to say…
for now…
until…

But there is no denying
Nor any resistance to
This Love growing deep inside…
Like a mother
Quietly and hopefully
Holding the space
Awaiting that divine
Moment of Grace
When All Possibilities unfold…

Tears of a Mother

Thunder and rain, are the earth's tears her pain
And the tears of a mother are not like any other
So whether tears or a rain remember their pain
Like the loss of a brother you'd feel pain like a mother
But it can never compare to how she would care
Or even the soul or the heart that she bares
I have nothing but love, respect, and admiration
For any mother can earn that much adoration

Nature-Nurture

What suffering has been abated?
The cat still toys with her pray
Watching like a mother protecting her young
A grin carved with malintent

Order, a court of greater ills
Ladders with no rungs, smooth pillars
What sins does this kingdom commit
When there is no capacity for reason?

No ships sunk from remorse
A cargo never considered

What generous heart is weaved in roots and vines?

Perfect Love

Perfect Love

Perfect love carries an impersonal touch,
like silent buddahs on lotus blossoms,
waiting for suffering to breathe a final, quiet sigh.
Like ice on distant mountains,
waiting to nourish the world below.
Like a Mother hawk, hunting high,
in a cloudless sky.
A love so unearthly blind and beautiful,
That it makes no distinction between caressing mother and child,
or a perfect stranger.

Blue Moon

Still I cry.
Still my eyes bleed.
They bleed the blood of a father
Who loves his prodigal daughter.

But I suffer worse.
I know where she is.
I know I can't see her
Till the Bloodshot moon runs blue.

Like a mother separated from her
Baby girl
Snatched, ripped, torn from her
Loving arms

With only a thread of faith
To sustain her through the now
Unbearable months
Under the Bloodshot Moon.

Premium Member The Wind Chime

A wind chime decorates the window
A wind chime welcoming the wind
The wind and the wind chime meet
They whisper to each other
Just like a mother whispering to his children
And the children always remember her words
Resembling that of a wind chime
Just like a mother waiting for their children
To come back bustling one day
And a mother always remembers their laughters
Resembling that of the wind chime
