Notes About The Poem

dawn

Listen to poem:

Sigh at Dawn

In the hushed thrum
between first light
the first bird
the first mist's
touché touch on cheek
the world pauses
to catch its breath
to sigh softly—
like a mother at
her babe's first cry.
