Premium Member Clerihew Manet

Edward Manet painted with a light touch
many famous examples remain of such
He admired Impressionist as a group
but left himself out of that particular loop

The Universe Reach Us

The universe
        reaches us ...
       Be it in fine rite,
be in a lovely hug ...!
      Enlaces us ...
       with soft light touch,
       calm breeze
or in cyclone or storm ..!

First Love

Heart pounding like thunder,
Cheeks heating up like the light touch of the sun,
Tummy tickling by the wings of butterflies.
Body getting chills all over as if Winter is about.
The feelings you get at first love.

Premium Member Gratitude

My heart knows a surge:
Feel a stillness call,
I feel that soft urge
As silence now falls.

My soul calls to me:
A light touch now mints,
I feel what may be
As a clear voice hints.

Her Lipstick Smile

Astonishingly destoning
She wears her Smile like a Red Dress
Lips colored with light touch
Of chemicals contained
In a storage instrument
Lips sticking with glitter
But the red foresees the eye from a distance
Lady in Red
Lipstick

Premium Member Love Is All These Things

Love is a light touch, a fragile kiss, a lonely lyric
A profound sigh, a heartfelt cry, a look of why
It's a single tear, a magical year, Cupid's spear
A passionate embrace ~ The warm greeting on your face

First Encounter

Eyes
contact,
brief at first,
then a shy smile
as gentle blushes
tint an ivory mask,
unearthing bygone colours
long since buried ‘neath fallen stones.
A light touch of skin ignites a spark,
tentatively stirring a sleeping heart.

Secret Words In Secret Places

Secret words and secret places
Moonlight dinners with all the graces
Soft summer walks in the eventide
Time together to just abide

Smooth satin sheets with a light touch
Saying I love you so very much
Sitting together in each other’s arms
Anticipating your touch and golden charms.

Premium Member Ancestral Whispers In the Evening

soothing ancestral whispers waft through trees
ethereal voices are barely heard
a gentle softness forming light touch breeze
she stands in awe without saying a word

Cool Breeze

Laying in the cool breeze
Drying the sweat on my face
Chilling my skin feeling refreshed
The light touch of God

The unknown rhythm of the wind
Memories of people and places
Flag waving back and forth
Remembering what it means to me

Hair moving with the breeze
Helping to loll me to sleep
Carrying happy dreams
Into the Universe

A Fateful Night

pulses racing as one, closer and closer
bodies working grinding together
sweat drips down making things slick tumbling, turning, crashing, falling
hearts pounding, blood pumping, minds whirling
explosions, like fireworks in the sky sleep, clinging, peaceful
easing breath, a light touch, shifting positions
the sun comes up

Missed Friend

Our missed friend does come by to see, a very light touch on the shoulder for me, or he pulls my big toe, as i lay in my bed, 'get up boy' the quitest voice has said, ah yes too right indeed, the other has the need, my contact isn't dead.... in spirit now is freed! Don re Anne Rutherford 'Alone Now Am I" Dad pulled my big toe when i was little to get me out of bed:}

Make a Final Meet

You are not near me
But your fragrance touch my nose
Your deep eyes not near me
But your light touch my soul
You are like a magical tale
Occupied place of heart
I go weaker while you appear
Beauty of heaven in my view
I am lost, stolen soul and heart
Saying me only your view vital
Your appear is uncertain
When you viewed when you hide
Tell me your proper address
I want to make a final meet

Premium Member Grasshopper Moth Queen

Grasshopper moth queen’s job is a delicate one.
She must send out the tiny moths one by one.
Hope and optimism are tucked away in their wings
They fly as delicately as a robin sing.

She is thoughtful and kind, and she uses a light touch.
The moths that are sent, love her help very much.
They sprinkle joy amid the common folk and the fey.
It is their job to bring happiness to the end of each day.

Forever Mine

Let me taste your lips with just one kiss
Let others see what they missed
Let me caress your face with a light touch of my hand
Let others want what I have

Let them see me holding your hand
Let them want what they can’t have
Let them wonder about your package
Let them think about unwrapping it

Just let them think about
What they don't have
Let them wonder in their mind
For you are forever mine

Premium Member Give Me a Push

Give me a push the faerie said
The lion laughed
He remembered the last time he had pushed her
She had fallen out and her wings had torn off

I do not have a light touch, he told her
Pump your feet!
She smiled, now remembering.
She pumped her feet until she was up really high

Wasn’t that better? Asked the lion
The faerie laughed
Glad she knew how to pump
She loved swinging more than almost anything.

Ancient Dance

We stand closely in the cool bedroom
Mutual appreciation abounds
Delicate hands caress my shoulders
My arms enveloping your loveliness

Finger-tipped feather light touch
Maps the gentle arch of your back
Simultaneously my hands moving away from me
Downwards, bringing us closer still

Anticipation firing desires
Breathless elevation of all senses
We embrace the Ancient Dance
Of lovers over millennia.

Premium Member Meeting Sarah

Sarah had wounded animal eyes whether she had been
an owl, a deer, or a dog is unknown.
However, I know that she must be treated as softly
and quietly as possible.
A loud noise
A fragrance
A light touch
Might re-traumatize her
Approach her as a tiny violet which has been broken,
stepped on and smeared in mud.
I advise her teacher to approach slowly and cautiously.
And above all, no sudden movements or touches.

One Glass Egg

this name is just
a tiny glass vessal
steadily cracking
under it's burden
the weight of waiting words
piled ever higher
encroching on the sky
entreating the fleeting glimpse
of passerby
one last thought too heavy
& as the stranger's caught
the feather light touch
of falling fingers
proves too much
so falls the tower
so shatters brittle glass
& there floats the phoenix
the egg's cage escaped
with that final fatalistic pass

Premium Member Our First Snow

she has freshened the meadow
the fence post are topped off in merry fashion
she floats down with such a light touch
if she was not cold, we might not notice

she begins lightly
giving us a tiny version of herself
no one expects her to keep up this pace
but she does
for six hours

our yards resemble Santa’s village
everything has been touched
she is twinkling with a spirit of joy
I do not want to make prints
feeling a reverence

The Morning Shine

I love to have the morning shine
            Upon my face
The sun smiling so brightly
            With warm embrace
Caressing me sinfully with
            Its light touch
Ever so gently rays tint my
            Skin blush
The birds singing in chorus
            Among the trees
Keeping in time as they sway
            In the breeze
There could not be a better
            Way to awake
A scene so majestic only
            God could create.

She Faces

she faces him with delight the sunlight gleams on her cheeks ,he is her love, he is her life's passion she stays with him into the night ,feeling his light touch and kisses, these are her lives little bliss's, He treasures her ,she is his sunlight, she illuminates him, they are divine in their own right, together forever two souls collide ,completely free ,nothing to hide , in each others hearts they'll always reside, Together as one ,they exist outside of time

Premium Member The Sweetest of Kisses

My tongue tastes the sweetness of your kiss

Both heart and spirit are awake

The long languid suppleness of this

Is almost too much for me to take

My body trembles from your light touch

As you softly caress my cheek

This time with you that I love so much

Is disarming as my knees grow weak

Heart pounds with a shortness of breath

Oh what a delectable sin

And though it draws me closer to death

Still, I can't wait to do it again

Hear Me Out

Do you wanna hear me?
Wanna know the truth?
Their skin excites me, and
the light touch gives me chills.
Just one kiss- and I feel I've been killed.
Light, soft, fragrant hair gives
me aches up and down.
Fragile, long necks- smooth
bodies frighten me.
I love it!
Just listen close and you'll understand.
I love the lightness of their hands.
It's almost like a flame- a match lit.
I fear you, not them.
Afraid of your response-
But please- just listen.
