The pain of loss
Rips my spirit apart
I lose myself in the depths of sorrow
Which overwhelms me with the loneliness
Journeying into the pit of never-ending sleep
I find myself swimming about
In the shallow abyss
Looking for a glimmer of life
That I have yet to live
I find there is none...

Smoke lit and it makes that noise.
Hand draws for pen.
And then- it begins.
The device of destruction
leaks black ink.
Blood smudges the page
in neatness. And then
thought come back to
present. Under the cresent,
and smike rises infront of my
eyes. In the outdoors
freezing, but quite not yet.
Light shines down on hand.
But it stays in darkness and this
masacre is not seen....

Celestial light shines down
on the folding fan
channeling the wind from North to East,
to South, and lastly West
Cherry blossom petals slowly rain
and scarlet petals of dying flowers
join the westward winds
Another step here and another there
This folding fan will guide the way
on the path of faith, patience, wisdom, humility, and elegance
in this sacred dance...

It tears its teeth into anything blocking its path

Frightened souls scatter and flee 
Others crouch and hid with closed eyes and clenched fists

How could such natural violence exist 
What is its purpose 

As dust settles and the clouds part
Light shines down in comfort

Light without dark 
Would be merely an afterthought 

Like a breeze without heat
A drink without thirst 

A breath without life...

Looking to heaven.
A light shines down.
Down, down comes an angel.
Down to my knees I go.
Weeping unto the Lord.
Suddenly, there is a pure white light shining all around me.
A faint whisper in my ear.
Yes?
It is the Lord.
Telling me to help others.
How?
With the special gift I have given you.
What is my special gift?
There is no reply.
Then, I go into a daydream like state.
The anwser is coming.
I wait and listen.
But it comes not through words, but through a vision....

Like a never fading sun in the sky.
the hospital light shines down as I lie.
And you cant help  but wonder will I die.
Why me, why now, is it OK for a man to cry ?.

When the blues and twos sing your name.
You wonder who is to blame.
and who put my name, in the frame.
And you soon become a number in the great health game.

A crystal ball is what i need
Has I cant see a rosy future as been guaranteed.
and I wonder if I should just concede
that life as been and gone with such speed....
