Me

I stand with fear. Examining the motionless crowd. Not a baby cries nor a person sneeze. All eyes are on me. For time has stopped. And here I sit. Just a motionless lock. Oh what I would do for a clean slate. To put me back at the lake. A light shines down. My burden lifted. From now on I am free to be ME
