Window Seat

Sitting on my window seat,
A world below, a world complete.

People passing people by,
No time to question who or why.

Man with green bag, going where?
If he's the tortoise, where's the hare?

Believers

I can only see,
What the physical world has taught me,
Corruption and racism,
Censorship and war,
My heart is torn,
My mind is worn,
In a world of hate,
Are there believers?
Believers still?
To quell the sorrows,
Of those whose pain,
Consumes.

Premium Member Heartless World

The world is wicked
Calling my heart weak
Laying bricks of gold
Near my crossed feet
No longer do I know
The knowledge that’s needed
To reach up and grow
Warnings properly heeded
The world is quite heartless
Leaving me old and restless

Child's Eyes

Have you ever seen the world through a child’s eyes, we used to.
We believed in heroes, saw no color, everyone was equal, we saw love.
Through adult eyes we see judgment, pride discrimination, we see hate.
Why do we need child’s eyes to live in a world of diversity?

Naive Fantasy

Hollow eyes
Unheard screams
Fake smiles
Eternal liars
Stuck in a world called reality
When all I want to do is
Reside in my dreams
Where everything is as it should be
Perfect as it always is
In this world I like to Fake
Where there are no troubles
Just solutions…

Wow

My head will explode,
Or so I’m told,
The world is going to end,
Carbon monoxide in our lungs,
Excommunication-
From all that is good,
This is the end,
Or so I’m told,
The world will rain with reign of horrors,
Displaced in a world of our own desires,
Life lovely so lost.

As You... Someone...

As you laugh, someone cries.
As you live, somebody dies.
One will fall but another will rise.
Someone loves, someone hates.
And as you ascend into Heaven,
Others pass through Hell's gates.

The world is ours to take, so let's take it.
If the world is man's, it is what he makes it.

Knowing Is Killing

The man who knew too much..
simply fell hush
fell into the sea of turning lies and misery
those crushing waves turn violent
as the sea turn red and the sky sprayed violet

the world was never to know those tales the man long to tell
tales of lies
tales to dark to tell
so the world fell into bliss
unaware of the darkness pouring in around them

Turn the Swords Upon Themselves

As we lay down our swords, we open ourselves to more
For the world unfolds before us all as one captive viewer
As we take up our swords, we close doors of opportunity
For the world recoils in fear of the lack of thought we exhibit
Let us destroy the swords, piercing the armor of hatred and mistrust
Freeing us from the bonds of ourselves and allowing us growth under One

Fail

what do you do
when you refuse to give up
but the world has already given up on you?
do you continue on this endless cycle of failure
and disappointment
or do you just stop trying
stop running
stop looking forward
sit in one spot
stare at the ground
and let the world eat you up
until you're nothing more
than a dream that once was
a candle that once burned
a bird that never learned to fly

A Way of Life

As we listen to the voices that rage within,
We try to understand the world as well as ourselves.

To spread our wings, to fly on our own,
To explore the outside world is all that is sworn.

Crying, loving, living, dying, all one in the same,
All and each trying to survive in the game.

This game called Life
This emotion to Cry,
This understanding of Love,
This acceptance called Death.

My World

In my world nothing is as it seems
for there are chocolate streams.
In my world everyone is equal so
there is no need to be evil.
In my world everyone prays and
everyone gets praised.
In my world the seas are as clear
as crystal for there is no need
for hassle.
In my world love is the number
one treasure and everything is
to good measure,
but no world is as perfect as my
world of pleasure.

Next Week

Mistakes make the world turn
they are how we learn.

 I tried so hard,
and cried many tears.

scared to show
the world who I am.

The time has come
to prove them all wrong.

To let everyone see
who I've become.

My words pepper blank pages
for all to read.

Next week my book will be released
Is my book going to hurt me?

I will have to wait and see.
What people are saying next week.

End of Earth

Walking through the hall
Feeling like a bouncing ball
My life is complete
Trying to beat this heat
The world is almost over
Hope I find a four leaf clover
If this world comes to a end
Then no longer blows the wind
The seas will stop moving
The sound of the ocean will never be soothing
Then the earth will be no more
Nobody will ever be sore
That’s the end of the earth
There will be no more birth

Happiness

This world is such a vast place,
Why do we settle for the rat race?
When all we need is to eat and breath.
There is so much for our eyes to see.
What you are looking for can be found.
But you must get out and cover some ground.
Go see the world and all that it holds.
Search for your answers.
Let the mysteries unfold.
But know now that you will find who you always knew...
True happiness is found within you.

Twinkle, Twinkle

Twinkle twinkle
Twinkle you little shining star
You are so very far
Among the moon you live
Oh what I would give
To live up there with you
Staring down at the world below
A dysfunctional picture, a picture you hold
In your longing gaze
Upon our world which we stay
Below the space where you play
Oh what I would give
To live where you live
To be so high up
Way up on top
Looking down
Upon the world below

End of Days

What is this world coming to be
The leaves are falling off the trees
The sky is starting to fall
Big pieces of rock fall into my hall
This world is falling apart
Like someone stuck a pick axe into its heart
Oceans are becoming dry
The birds are not in the sky
This place is not alive
The earth will no longer thrive
The end of days is near
It all starts right here
The world is almost done
We can no longer have fun

Tears of Our World

Our World has stood proud and strong for thousands of years.
Now we work to destroy her, regardless of her tears.

So careless we were, and continue to be.
The powers that are, refusing to see.

The rape and ravage of our world, this daily onslaught.
Leaving little for our children, this destruction we wrought.

The ruination of our world by an ungrateful race,
has left her people with a future of death and disgrace.

Will They Thank You

have you made this world better
will you leave this world less rotten
when your gone
will hunger too
be forgotten
when you are
you will leave
but will you do so without regret
without debt
to earth
to the ones who will come next
will they thank you
and do as you do
have you been a hateful
fool
a weapon or a tool
for something known to be wrong
in your heart
you know
our children
need you to be better

Ever Lost

I come from a world of darkness, where I can not find a way out;
I come from a family of people all around me, yet I am utterly alone;
I come from a place where my hands see all, every movement and touch, every texture and
temperature, touch is all I have to see;
I come from a universe of silence, and while I try to scream for help consistently, no one
ever hears me;
I come from a world where I am lost, and I fear I will never be found.

I Feel Like Jesus

Young boy wit da world on his back
but this world dat sits on my spine also throws bricks in my face

5 stars pierced in da side of my neck
but still im on my way 2 b a vet

Playground

Kids see the world as it is
I was once reminded
That the world is a playground
But somewhere along the way
Whether because of work
Or just responsibilities
We forget that
Our lives become routine
We forget how to be a kid
How to use one of our greatest gifts
The ability to see the world as it is
The gift of imagination
We get caught up in our work
No longer enjoying what she offers
It's a shame
The world is a playground
Its a shame we can't see it

Bedtime Story

Doze off to a world or rather a place
With beautiful colors and demons with no face
Waters of red and valleys of black
Once you step in no turning back
The skies once blue now grey have been turned
From the ash and ruin with everything burned
And still yet you turn to a child face lit with smiles
Though behind her come the demons stretching for miles
And for this one child you must fight from within
For you are now a father and this is the world we live in

This Coolness

it's the morning due that creeps through my skin
while the sun relaxes at my feet
it's the coolness of dusk
that makes my world a little bit easier
but easier for only my eyes to see
it's that omg kind of feeling
that feeling that make me quiver
it's the way the clouds are formed
that give me momories to remember
it' the morning due that creeps through my skin
while the sun relaxes at my feet
it's the coolness of dusk
that makes my world a little easier
