Sometimes in life, words have to be said
Because sometimes in life these words have to be read

The poet is in the coffee shop,
jotting down words,
The words of the poet,
so surreal, so honest,
Words of the poet,
are read by many,
standing up on a stage,
speaking words into the microphone,
drawing the audience in,
the words of the poet...
Eyes are not the only window to a soul, words show so much more.
Whether words of joy, wisdom or pain, they are emotions in ink.
To see the whole of you in print, bared to the cruel world, takes a great courage.

I write because I'm happy
I wrire because I'm sad
all these words must go somewhere
and not just put to bed.
What today will bring , not really sure
life is crazy, but won't know till I walk
out the door.. I hope my words touch
someone today, because then tomorrow
I can have more to say..
no phrase that I've mentioned
till now
has moved a leaf
no imagination
has now ever lived
still
inside a dark room
i waste the time
so precious for
the words to rhyme
a dim light pressured
by a melting glue
that holds a life
as i empty the
imagination i lived
and words fill the empty
floor
Words have the ability to heal,
Words can bring warmth and laughter,
Ill words spoken can breed disaster,
Carefuly chosen words can bring about change,
Crude words could make someone feel strange,
Words are more powerful than anyone thinks,
Insensitive words can break the most iron clad
links........
I see life in a creative way
I let the ink and paper have their say
The lyrical words dance and glide
Forming round me, go with the ride
So join me as I sway.
I need to express through words I write
Life's an inspirational delight
Many sights to make me smile,
And make me frown, come stay a while.
See through my eyes so bright.
I hear you speaking words of love
Although the words are sweet
Don't forget they're right above
Your bitter heartbeat
The yelling and shouting hurts
Speaking words of anger
Acts of kindness in spurts
Bitterness is the danger
So remember to forgive
All the pain reminded of
I'm yearning you to live
Conversations of love
Oh, sing me with sweetness the songs that you share
The words and your voice show how much that you care
The light in your eyes, so twinkles for me
Oh, sing me your songs, which make me happy
The stage that you stand on means nothing for sure
For there’s love in your words that just seems to outpour
I know with each word sung, that smile you show
Is secretly for me, of this I do know
As I fly away through broken dreams
The reins pull fiercly at my grip
For everything is not what it seems
As these words pass by mothers lip
She gives me all her words of wise
promises me them I must use
As my journey takes me to the skies
All I have learnt I must now disuse
For all those broken dreams
Were only waiting to be chased
I open my mind to my supreme
Life must not be lived in haste

A few days of Sunshine a few days of pain
A few days of Joy a few days of rain
A few words of kindness a few words of stress
A few words of peace a few words of meaness
A few tears of happiness a few tears of lamentation
A few tears of celebration a few tears of deppression
A few smiles of mercy a few smiles of condemnation
A few smiles of forgiveness a few smiles oppression

these words I'm gunna spit
are gunna feel like grit
with these words I'll smack you in the face
and consume your very space
I'll eat your soul alive
with my hunger quenched I will thrive
I will ruin your life
like cutting butter with a hot knife
who am I?
the one to let you cry
I'm the chain that you ware
the scars that you bare
I'm the swag that you walk
and the slang that you talk
who am I?
I'll give you another try
mabye you should ask your crew
who am I, I'm YOU
