Poetry Food For the Spirit
By being a poet, I am bread
               food of life hope
               for being free
         I'm a circus, a laugh party......

Gear Up
It is set to take the stage,
We see signs of its coming,
The tillers eagerly await,
Its visit brings life, hope and newness.

The Weapon of Life - Hope
In the dark night,
I followed a light,
It led to my heart,
which was broken apart.
the light gave me warmth,
hope and confidence.
And with the glow in my eyes,
I came back to life!...

While there is life
There is hope
And while there is hope
There is desire
And while there is hope
There are dreams
To cling on too
Until our dreams
Transpire.

Waiting
I am standing on the platform,
waiting for the peace train.

I have no baggage of any kind
but still I wait and will remain.

My mind is clear, my thoughts are pure,
In my heart I rest assured.

That I will go home to hear his word,
before the darkness does occur....

I'M Scared
I'm scared of leaving what I have now
      I'm scared of the future
        and how it may look
        cause everytime I turn around
my life is being flipped in a new direction
I hope it's for the better this time
I hope I will be happy...

Premium Member all soldiers are terrible
Soldiers are terrible the young boy was told
Wizened and angry, their faces scared and old
But he met a young soldier named Tommy Lee
He gave lessons in life, hope, and a bit of candy
So the boy no longer believed all soldiers were bad
This optimistic ray of sun reminded him of his dad....

Spring Light
Year’s end beckons now
Sorrow and sadness lie deep
Like snow, melts in spring

A new season calls
Awakening spirits fresh
Buds of new life hope

Breaks the earth leaving
Winter behind, memories
Cast in spring light

Nourished with love strong
Roots hold firm in wind and storm
Flowers blooming new...

Time of Misery and Depression
In time of misery and depression…
 When justice is oppression…
   The law is a crime…
And business is to kill and maim..
Many turns to God and worship..
Hoping to pass the hardship …
       Others lose life hope..
Dangling from a knot of a lonesome rope…
         Though dark is the fate…
A lot will fail the tempting bait...

A Makeshift Graveyard
Married to a number,
Set aside for posterity.

Marked and laid out in an open grave,
In everlasting humility.

Look and behold as I grow into the earth,
I never asked for and do not want any pity.

Young life, hope, tortured death ,
And yet, I welcomed it all with untaught piety.

I lie in unmarked graves around the deadened land,
I am sorry I never said goodbye....

Thanks For You
You’re just so downright generous
With the gifts you give to me
From words, expressions, hope and love
All things to set me free

You always make me feel so good
As you brighten every day
Because, oh special friend of mine
You love to play and play

So, thanks to you, my special friend
You’ve changed my life for sure
I hope to do the same for you
And even give you more...

Seasons
Seasons are like Bridges we walk
Across as they sway.
It's time of the cherry blossoms
Smell of rot like a pile of compost.
But, after you walk across
the bridge and finish your journey,
you don't need to think about the blossoms.
They will smell sweeter,
as though the blossoms had never rotted.
You walk towards better things
like life, hope, and opportunity.
They are one step away....

The Road That Leads To You
Highways may run into remoteness
Wind may blow into an alien land
Rivers may meander through unexplored sand
Birds may the greener hills chase
But dear, I know my route,
The avenue that I walk, though
The journey is unattainable I know,
Yet it leads to life so absolute
The road that leads to just there
Where mystic hearts sing anew
Of life, hope and love to share
It's the road that leads to only you....

Premium Member Life Pill
The pill of life would cost, I fear,
Much more than I can pay,
But I still hope there will be one
For saving lives some day.
A pill that conquers all disease
And takes all pain away,
I know, somewhere, some super brain,
Strong willed enough to stay
Is working on this superb pill.
I hope there’s no delay,
For I’m fast falling all apart
Like fabled one-horse shay.

The Death of My Child
The Death of My Child

jeremiad
jeremiad
jeremiad;
an ocean of tears
of misery:
the mother's 9 months product
has sadly fallen
a shocking loss
a lost fruit
when future plans glitters
but death does not permit
a big shame to the life hope
shaken heart to drop blood
blood of pain and failure
struggle to acccept
beyond depression
life test
life challenge
weak-human response
a deep lament
a forever cry.

Me
Me

I have failed at everything.
Everything I try to do.

I have failed in school.
I was never well behaved.

I have failed at work.
I was never a very good slave.

I have failed at family.
Where are they now?

I have failed at life.
I’m barely making it somehow.

I’m not a famous person.
I’m not a wealthy man.
I’m not a holy guru;
Nor wanted by any friend.

I’m just good at being me;
and maybe that’s all I’m supposed to be....

Theres Some Hope Left
~Theres Some Hope Left~

I stare at this Empty Chair,
And try to look my best,
Imaging he is there,
Looking stright back,
But all this is not real,
None of this is Fact,

He is right beside me now,
And I feel it in my bones,
The weakness what do ya know?,
I have a lot of words to say,
But nothing comes out,
They never do anyways,

At the End of the Day,
I keep moveing,
Head up looking towards your Eye's,
Theres Always A little bit of hope left,
In them All the time....
