Nothing was ever okay,
But at least it's okay now.
I was never okay,
But at least I can even still say,
"I will be okay."
Writing, writing, in a journal
I do have faith; even if a kerne
To go to college, have job, be free
Just how soon can you liberate me?l
we prefer a priest
of all said he was the least
being at a feast
when we could connect
surely would always select
one which was correct
Hurt but not broken,
Words worth but not spoken,
An urge to just feel, anything that’s real,
The sting of a razor was all that would save her.
May you be blessed today when you least expect it…
with beauty, grace and style
an old memory will sneak up on you
and make you smile…for a while.
I smiled and said hello
her loneliness ever so deep yet tangible
kindness ~ ointment to old wounds

Nothing revolves around me,
Nor does everything need to involve me.
Least I can do for everybody, is be
The one, when they most need somebody to see.
Rooted in muddy stagnant waters.
Suddenly up blooms the most pure lily.
Reminder to never judge harshly.

Mundane cells not immune to death
Upon exhale of final breath,
Tenuous trails towards the past,
Luminous legacy to last.

As the candle slowly burns until the faintest light flickers to the end,
so does
the human soul cease to exist.

I was happy,
TV nightly,
As a family,
Simple pleasures,
"Any Umbrellas",
Family holidays,
I was happy,
Perhaps the world was happy,
Or happier at least.
Now that we are no longer the people we used to be,
Even after seeing the darkness in us we could never see,
Least I can do for all of you now, is let all of you be free.
It doesn't matter
how many times you fail
just keep getting up
hit the hammer on the nail
the thing is you're trying
and that's what you say
at least I'm trying
not walking away
Why do we suffer?
So often we forget that
Christ suffered too
without blemish, without sin
He can relate and
guide us through
sometimes we just have to suffer for Him.
Form:
grumpy cucumber was pickled and put inside a jar
Oh this is fun, he lamented. Hardy har har
The other cucumbers were pickled and put in jars too
For some weird reason, this made grumpy less blue
Desire…
Desert thirst,
Mirage
Chase futile…
Prudence.
Discovered
At end
Beauty of
The least.
This or that
Options…
Conundrum.
Need none…
Unattached.
Happy soul.

I was never good at letting go,
but stuck there and seek revenge was not even the matter with me,
Isn't it funny??
If any of this was up with me,
I think I could have stayed happier at least.
tell me
am i being
a horrible person
but today
is Thursday but
postally it's my Monday
so instead
of going in i got
out my favorite pen
happily
deciding to
write down what's
up
in
my
life
Form:
silence of your soul
trembles my lip
sigh at least let
the leaves move
set the breeze
sooth the wounds
soon
let the wind blow
dance the trees
move the earth
turn the wind
tousle not let
tornados tune
suck them in
sigh at least

George was a prankster, at least one screw loose
Peed in a bottle, tagged it orange juice
His mom drank it all down
Then she started to frown
Her face turned red, then white ~ then chartreuse
The One least likely to understand,
Was the One who knew the most
On broken knees, I cannot stand,
But haunt, do I, as wraith or ghost
The One least likely to be subtle,
Was as gentle as a Lamb
And, Oh! My emotions, deeply muddled-
Woe is me is all I am!
Queen Erselott ruled the living room
Wearing her gold crown and lilac perfume
Her sister Queen Mae, self-imposed ruler too
Was jealous of Ebony, told that cat to shoo.
But Erselott crowned Ebony Queen of the loo
Let her clean out their litter, the least she could do.
When the soul searches
And found nothing
Emptyness, pure emptyness
Rebounds!
In some such moments
I feel
I am dragged to a shell
I could have
Sure. I could have kept the entire universe
Inside the drawyer
No more I am just a repilica!
More within I am, least discovered!
waking up on a Wednesday—
a Day stranger to live than spell
iced tea doesn't make any sense.
blue shoes glued with Shoe Goo
makes old shoes more new
but not much more less than Crap.
i've got Things today to do—
paint the walls, save the World,
and dream of Alan Rickman.
Listen to poem:
it doesn’t have to be complicated
let’s just be real
no need to pretend
we’re not hurting
no need to hide
our scars and bruises
we both know
we’re broken beyond repair
let’s just be real
you to me and i to you
let’s somehow together
at least try to heal
