When I Visited a Mountain Temple In Korea

Shadows on the valley floor
Appear with the rising sun
Pine trees cling to the steep slopes
Over boulders a stream runs

Launch Lunch

North Korea launched F U-2
But it headed toward Peru!
Said Xi Jinping,
"That's quite some sting
For the want of a tighter screw!"

Potus Salute

Donald Trump wants a standing salute
To the flag and for being so cute
But Kim Jong-Un
Showed him the Moon
And told Trump to go play his flute.

A Man From Korea

A Man from Korea

There was a vicious man from Korea,
Who was as pugnacious as a Terrier,
He said, “As Korea is one,
Division must be none,
I will liquidate if there is any such barrier.”

Cursed Korea of the North

Once the green land of morning calm and high serenity
Soon waved the blood red flag, stained with the false words “We will soon be free”
Now a grey, barren mountain swallowed by Yaldabaoth’s sea

Walking Along the Korean Winter Beach

Walking along the winter
 Korean beach,
With the love of my life
By my side,

She looks at me
With red hot love
Flames shooting
From her black eyes,

Melting away my heart
Driving out the cold
of the winter beach.

land of k Beauty

I live in Korea
The land of plastic surgery
K beauty products.

Korean women are
Among the most beautiful
Women in the world.

The cult of the beautiful
Everywhere you go
You see beautiful women
And men on the street,

And I realized I married
The most beautiful woman
In the world,

When I met and married
My Dream lady.

Diarrhea In North Korea

Trump A Houdini

Trump had actually been a Houdini,
And we thought that he was a meanie;
After he did have a case of diarrhea,
He then ended up in North Korea.

Trump compared to Kim is much older,
And Kim's head equals Trump's shoulder;
One feature both had which was same;
Each tiny brain looked like it was lame.

Just for you Rohini

North Korea

His eyes grow cold as his hair crawls down his shirt to his spoon, into his cabbage water.
He cries inside, for his innocence lost, for who this will make him become….for what he cannot have.
Inhumane, he is like cattle and he is branded.
Unjust, unknown, he whispers “please…” and they see him….”Stupid American.”

Korean Winter Blues

Korean Winter Blues

Korean Winter Blues

Korean winters
Are shorter than before
Impact of climate change

Can get very cold
As Siberian winds
Blow in from Russia

Putting the whole country
Under a deep freeze
Polar vortex

It does not snow
Too much
Except in the mountains
The coldest day
I ever experienced
Was in Korea
Back in 1979

The AFKN radio announcer
Said it was minus 70
That morning.

April 2 Love is in the Air

Springtime Flowers Blooming Love

Springtime in Korea
walking down the world peace forest
near the international airport in Incheon
with the love of my life by my side.

Enjoying the Flowering Trees
The snowing apple trees, cherry blossoms
pear blossoms. the purple azaleas, the anemone,
the buttercups, the daffodils, the magnolia,
the scotch bloom, the tulips,
the wildflowers in the field.

the fragrance of love in the air
Life is great.

North Korea Now and Not Black Power

North Korea Now and Not Black Power

Is a prosaic
Of something quite archaic
Country far behind.

This is what I thought of after
watching news about North
Korea exploding another bomb.
Inferior countries are looking for
attention getters to overcome
and compensate for an inferior
complex. Of course, they thing
an occasional show of force and
people with uniforms full of medals
will also add to the austerity.
