The Piano Keys

Before me, I lay out the piano keys.
Step on them all.

My tone, my dream, my hope—
Trample them all.

Surrendering this body upon the keys,
I will make my voice heard to you!

The Keys of Life

Faith is strong
Love
Hate is wrong
Behavior
Lieing is weak
Your hurting as you speak
Emotions
Happpiness is the key
Smile
Grieve
Once in awhile
And listen to yourself
More than everyone else

My keys are missing
and I find myself dissing
my ability to function
daily without mention
of my constant misplacement
of things I need-so I vent
in the form of a rhyme
that soothes me every time

The Voice of the Keys

This is how, in the dry lands of printed words
we stir light in a crucible of swirling doubts.
Blindly we speak for the unknowable,
our lips shut tight in a dark room,
teaching fingers how to dream.

Premium Member Life and death in the strokes of the keys

Reading past writings

With lack of recognition..

What prompted the rising

Of those words..?

Many seem strange indeed

Words rising and gone

Life and death in the

Strokes of the keys...

Zebra Keys

Music from her zebra keys,
Sets her soul and mind at ease,
Angels sing as evil dies,
Each note melts away her cries,
Rising above into that place,
Where she gets more than just a taste.
