What Next
After Judicious consideration
the Court ousts chihuahuas without hesitation
With Texas Versus Rover
their dreaming days are over
We'll soon live in a pure Aryan canine nation...

French Fries
A giant portion of French fries
Can make a meal auspicious,
So crisp and yum but, no surprise,
Not really too nutritious.
Of course, I have to recognize
This choice is not judicious
But it is worth ballooning thighs
For something so delicious....

Precious Seconds
86400 precious to seconds in a day
It's stupidity to while them away
Much can be done in a single day
If lived in a wise and judicious way
Taken from poem " All in a day"

Save Paper
Paper is precious
we must be judicious
When we use paper
we must not scatter
bits of paper here and there
It must be used with care.
We write and we learn
it should not be torn or burnt
paper does not come for free
It costs the life of many a tree....

Poetic Justice
Of course I would never consider your harm a
Deliciously fitting comeuppance of karma;
I only confess that I might have enjoyed a
Judicious, wee smidgen of slight schadenfreude.

Infant Poet
Infant Poet
I heard the sweetest cry: “Jack Ellison!”
Soon after birth of Joe my Cherubim Son
That bestowed bliss and not sorrow-
A symbol for a judicious tomorrow
Evocative of erstwhile Lord Tennyson!
** With the Wise Poet, Jack Ellison, in mind. (A Limerick)

Ten Commandments
Thou art enjoined to enjoyment,
Exhorted to exultation.
Thy responsibility is to be responsive,
and impishness be thy imperative.
So cherish thy good cheer,
And be not judicious in jubilation –
Rather exude exuberance,
For to revel is a revelation, and
It is on pain of death that
That thou art commanded to Live!...

My Request To a Root
I nourish a wish for long
To enter into a tree
So I frequently go
To a forest deep
At jet black night
And touch a root
And request it
Even for a moment
To take me in
After all trees are not stone
Neither they are jealous
Or show their grabbing attitude like men
They are judicious
Sympathetic and full of love
More hospitable for a man
Than a man for a man
Oh tree, even for a moment
Please take me in...

Bluebell-Judicious Being
A shade of Turquoise,
Vibrant and lengthy,
Smooth like blueberries,
Thick like quilt,
Wrapped in ribbon,
Neatly and tight.
Eyes like pandas,
Big and bold,
Lashes like spiders,
Most are new,
Some are old,
Like my big red luscious lips (or so I am told).
My big frame and stature,
Is not a match for you,
My retro fashion sense,
Vintage like me,
I'm happy with just flowers,
Gerberas red, pink, yellow and green....

Under the Lights
In the bible it states that no sin is more fraudulent than another,
so in this mighty country that we have labelled the Home of the Free,
why do we judge each other, constantly dropping the judicious mallet that belongs to God,
point fingers and ridicule the next man,
determined to cause fright,
but inside we are petrified it might,
be our turn to face this judgmental fight,
what will they say when your sins are broadcast... Under the Lights...

Jimmy Jeevers
Jimmy Jeevers jaywalked
on Jefferson on the last
day of January while wearing
his jaunty jester hat which
slipped over his jolly eyes
when a speeding Jeep jammed
him between two parked
cars, a Jaguar and Jetta
as curious onwatchers
waited for the ambulance
to arrive to take Jimmy to
St. Joseph Hospital where
his life was saved by the
judicious and caring staff.
Moral of this story is
not to wear a
jaunty jester hat
while jaywalking.
