81 Years of Love
When we are 81
And still joined at the hIP
 Husband and Wife
With the love of my life
I would fear death with every increasingly shallow breath
Because you are my very meaning of life
My reason to wake
My eternity lake...

My Buddy
My Buddy

My Buddy
That’s what I call him
A term of affection
Best of friends

My Buddy
We’re inseparable
Joined at the hip
Two peas in a pod

My Buddy
Playmate for life
Affectionately secure
Intertwined at the heart

My Buddy
Each other’s world
Two of a kind
Father and son...

Santa Claus and Santa Dog
Riding into the sunset past the fog
They pass a snail, an ant, a frog.
They sing Christmas carols about a yule log.

Santa Claus and Santa Dog never ends.
They enjoy being a couple, best friends
They are joined at the hip and the ankle too.
They are fast friends forever, these wonderful two....

Olympic Hurdle
The arch she holds is quite Roman
The barrel of my pistol is elongated
Click---Click---Bang; the race has begun
Swerving, maneuvering, and dodging
Joined at the hip on the last lap
Cramps begin to set in
Only one will survive
With her intuitive mind she turns right,
leaving me left
Breaking the finish line tape dramatically
Welcome to the winner's circle...

The Chuch of Sight and Sound
We can’t stop what we’ve begun.
We’ve created a world that can’t be undone.
The beauty is ours for all to see.
As selfish as it may seem
It is all about the artists
you and I.
The bond that we share,
the works we prepare.
You and I
joined at the hip,
two artists bound by the brush.
We worship together you and I,
in the temple of beauty ,
in the church of sight and sound....

We are joined at the hip
(all ribs borrowed);

at the core of time,
(the keeper of light)
abides a jewel
of perpetual return-

So trust
the deepening night

to have a healing way--

slip faithfully
from our hot canvas
of day
(running off
a cooling trickle--

separated lovingly
a blessing
such sleep

we are reconstituted...)

to be awakened
a fresh pallet
of prime and color.......

In a world of decayed morals
Where change happens in a blink
Choices are based on greed and sex
Soulmates are all but extinct

To say that people are joined at the hip
It's only a temporary thing
In these, "me first" times of self gratification
One simply just takes off their ring

Call yourself a hopeless romantic
But not when it comes to love
Soulmate is merely playing semantics
And only pertains to doves...

Walking the Same Path Feeling the Same Thing
I know what your thinking before you even speak

Dancing through life cheek to cheek

Walk in each others steps until were smitten

We know our destiny before its written

Soul to soul our hearts do flip

Inseparable forever joined at the hip

Hand to hand eye to eye

Together again and time does fly

Back to back and face to face

Love is made in any given space

Senses are blinded and our minds do sing

Walking the same path feeling the same thing...

Premium Member Forgiving And Forgetting
Forgiveness and forgetting, are not joined at the hip. We can still love the person, but not forget their lip. I thank God each day, for my many second chances. When He forgave He forgot, with no backward glances. It is comforting to know, that God remembers no more. My previous shortcomings, before opening my heart’s door. It’s quick and easy to say forgive, with hope’s we didn’t sever. A treasured friendship, while forget remains forever.

Words can not describe how much you mean to me
Our hearts joined together it.s plain to see
You are my pilot I am your crew
You bring me joy in everything you do
You are my guiding light that keeps darkness away
Your captivating smile brightens my day
If I could imagine what heaven could be
I would look no further than she
Our journey through life joined at the hip
A gentle embrace a connection of lips
Love is a gift to be unwrapped every day
A whisper in my ear what can I say...
