True love intact
headstone unravels all,
their land infertile took them both.

those memories
and stored them
in the apex of my heart.
There they will remain, intact
and dry, even in storms.

When things go awry,
Placing blame changes nothing.
Things remain intact.
A prime-numbered day if years leap
Adds one extra cycle for sleep
This calendar fact
Keeps seasons intact
And discounts our rents that ain't cheap
He had thick red hair and a beard
Now his hair has disappeared
It concerns him that's a fact.
Keeping all his parts intact
Why has he become so weird?
Unhappily trapped
In a crumbling relationship...
The love that kept them intact
Through highs and lows
Eroded by doubts.
