Premium Member Informative Tom

Hey Tom, your heart you wear on your sleeve,
Concisely achieve what a poet does perceive,
Surpassing discerning reporters near and afar,
Keep writing about Putin and his stories bizarre,
You remind me of Churchill, just add a cigar.

Reading and Writing

I have not heard many summer birds
My summer time is spent indoor
Reading books and sweet gifts of words
I have not heard many summer birds
To know more of doing my best bids
To write informative pages for sure
I have not heard many summer birds
My summer time is spent indoor

Inspiration

I sit and reflect
New words help me to connect
Signs from above come to me
Poet I would like to be
Informative i like to write
Rhyme and reason is so bright
Always try to be just so
Testing my words do they flow
In this style is my first plight
Only you can say if it's right
Now I must say goodnight

Retirement Aftermath

I maybe bored To the extent of googling How to use the toilet bowl properly Amazingly, there is a detailed answer How dare U-tube gives so much information An informal education, yet Informative to the layman’s need and curiosity! Hmmm, I maybe bored A retirement aftermath (in my case) The unstructured time available Has turned me into a jack of all trades!

Premium Member Uncle Charlie

Uncle Charlie Miracle Man 6/13/2022 He was older than old Dick Tracy, more informative than a Sear’s catalog. The stories he told were often racy, but his life was taken by a one eyed dog.* *A greyhound Bus with one headlight, that came streaking across the land. It mangled his body, what a gruesome sight, he died with his cane pole in his hand. Not really. LOL

Karma

I want to thank you for all the terrible things you've done to me,
You shined a light on some things I hadn't seen.
to say the least i was selfish and insensitive in the past
I've been given a taste of what was owed to me,at last
so in a sense you are my punishment.
advise to you fair warning and final hint,
you better watch what you've been given.
for soon you may be living it,
what comes around goes around once more.

Informative Age

Handprints cold,
Heart feels blank,
From young to old,
Family I thank.
As beauty falls,
Short to one,
The baby crawls,
Children have fun.
Wisdom speaks,
Feedbacks plotted,
Saving antiques,
Problems knotted.
Shielding length,
As wrinkles flare,
God given strength,
My life affair,
Leaking fault,
Numbers multiply,
A glare shares halt,
Others walk right by.
I may be old,
But please be kind,
I’ve grown bold,
A critical; instigated find.

RETRIBUTION’S TIME AGAIN

A change is coming;
Injustice will be leaving:
We will be voting:-

It’s now time for us:
Emancipation over
Evil oppression:-
Many died for voting rights:
Let us keep justice alive.

Time now for a peaceful civil engagement,
Guaranteeing peacefully won equality.

You can not buy back emancipation;
But votes can win its restoration
Without a tooth for a tooth,
Nor an eye for an eye:-

Premium Member Addiction

I’ve really tried to kick the habit --
Lord knows, I’ve totally tried!
But addiction is a ship not easy
To right...as a flap-less plane
Incapable of a navigable flight --
Speaking~ of the Writing Affliction!
Inexcusable whether works of grand
Truth, or totally wild poetic fiction –
putting an end to neurotic
behavior, is far easier said, then actually
shed. Hmm, verse or informative prose?
What will be this day’s Obsessive,
Compulsive Flavor?

Poem Medecine

Sometimes I wonder if I use poetry as a crutch
To my emotions broken limbs
As if poetry is an outpatient outlet for my informative formalities
Passive aggressive tendencies
Rhyme disease
My apologies, I seem to forget the apostrophes
Like symbolic catastrophe
Heartache rhinoplasty
Augmentation of my weaknesses
I contain in my vial the audacity
Squirting literary illness on healthy bodies and souls
Because we're all dying,
And just trying to stay beautiful

Notes

Notes

I write notes
but do not apply for insurance quotes
I sit under the tree in the rain writing a note
while laying beside me is my rain coat

I write notes to memorize
but not to visualize
my notes can be abstract
but not take from an extract
while my manager makes me sign a contract

My notes is my poem
my poem is my hearts home
My notes can be informative
but cannot be affirmative
my Facebook are my notes that I post
traveling in a plane going to the coast
