A December Memento

universal light
inexplicably timeous
wish to fruition

Could you be serious for one minute? She asked. Like the Dog Star? I quipped. Radiant I glowed, and in the moment, basked; Inexplicably, the next, I tripped.

Premium Member A Charlatan Or Just Honest

Was Sam a charlatan
or was he inexplicably overly-honest?
Weirdly half felt he was a charlatan
A third felt he was inexplicably too honest
The rest did not think of him at all
Choosing to live their own lives

Premium Member attempting to learn bird speak

bird-speak is inexplicably complicated
I try to imitate it, but unsuccessfully
it is impossible without a beak
a mouth cannot replicate these sounds
I dare not try to decipher their meaning
without benefit of mimicry

In chaos..

A dream of

Not-knowing...

Proud Sky

Harsh sky,
inexplicably blank,
A lonesome me amidst crowd,
stared for recognition up,
and seek a connection,
between ground and heaven,
came none,
cruel sky,
spoke of none,
it quietly saw,
me getting lonelier in crowd,
it would not descend,
it was too proud.

Premium Member Strange Paradox

seventeen Septembers savored
sweet, sober joy - strange paradox
        sampling life’s effusive flavors
            intoxicating skyward thoughts
                inexplicably-found favor

Premium Member Zen Mode

struck by a memory lapse
within a dream we lived
ego limitation taunts
disconcertment
inexplicably arises
as noose of duality tightens

should we indulge or yawn
at this play underway
rooted in doership
so, so stuporous
or shift our attention
in thought rested stillness
where the throb of bliss renews

Galactic Fantastic

Galactic fantastic how I cry
Whilst I criss cross the diamonds in the sky
I tend to paint it ghostly white
Flying the non fly zone
With fuel or fight
A mission to another universe's earth
Another galactic fantastic birth
Would you inexplicably go
Or stay on this planet all alone!

Premium Member Truth as Worm

The worm of truth shimmers
Wriggles evasively
Hides inexplicably
In among sentences.

Seems to withdraw from
Honest inquiry
Dates of expiry
Desperate pleas.

We wish it Godspeed
As reason it chases
In the strangest of places
Where trust fears to follow.

A worm for a snake
Is an easy mistake.
Here's hoping deception
Won't impede truth's reception!

When Young Men Die

When young men meet with
inexplicably sudden and biting ends,
not the whitewashed passing of those long in the tooth,
     the silver-maned for whom all mourning may expire at death;
that burrowed-under-the-skin ache
where labored breath takes speechless flight
and bids farewell to carefree thought -
that a God of love
carries my heavy heart
seems inadequate in its wake.

A Coward's Fear

The wrenching from within me is unbearable.
Hair, all along my arms, raise.
As if static electricity had been the entirety of me.
All the while, the skin grows cold, clammy.

I'm unable to confess my deteriorated state.
It's a sickness unlike any other; inexplicably daunting.
To whom may console me? Alleviate my pain?

I seek release,
 from such a cumbersome,
 and execrated imprecation.

My 'conflict-averse' paranoia.

present here now in the life flow continuum ego shorn, here now reborn, we wish not quite due to memory imagery silence enables, ego disables we oscillate in between without struggling being immune ego dies, we rise light of Self revealed deeper yet, the noumena presence at peace in the void inexplicably descends in turbidity to feel colourations of stark contrast yet finding a blissful rhythm in the storm

Inexplicably, Searching of a Reason

"Life - 'An open book'
Missing some papers.

Pen in dilemma and
Missing the desires.

Slipping relations continually
Missing visitation.

Sheer sobbingly questions
Missing advocate somewhere.

Dominating dense night
Missing hopes.

Breaths, imprisoned in walls
Missing some emotions.

The talks which had with dear ones,
Missing each words.

Whom should the reason be asked?
Missing each information. !! "_____ Durgesh Verma

Premium Member Light

I sit and watch you smile. Is that an unearthly light?
You came from darkness. I witness reflected light.

I'm inexplicably drawn towards you
Your sweet presence makes my spirit feel light.

From uplifted branches colored leaves fall.
Dancing around you in glowing sun light!

A shadow falls across you pretty face
You return to darkness, there is no light

Perhaps I imagined you sitting there
A wondrous thought bathed in unearthly light

Psshhh

Her maybeline tears saltier than the oceans...peaked in glamour waves and emotions ...
I have never seen the heart of love until i gazed into her eyes
Feverishly connected but hidden in a maze of disguise
I call her name but in return only silence caught the waves
The energy of love immortal inexplicably outlives the grave
Eyes as blue as the waters of patagonia and golden locs like sunshine rays
Mesmerizing beauty i'd pay the reaper his due cost to be With her just one more day
