Transcendence does not mean superior,
it simply means discovering 
the wholeness of individuation,
realizing that each person
is unique unto themselves,
with divine life indwelling,
released to enter the eternal
when the mortal coil is shed.

in your hands, the
casual arc of your shoulders,
a deceitful ease in your voice—

as if the world melted into your anima,
your eyes spoke the nether language
(angelicus anima).

I watched your eyes oscillate,
a tidal wave of light,
gleams of individuation
propagating outward,
devastating all disguises—

careful strata
