Rose Is Beauty

rose is beauty like u
once crushed,
she would dissolve
in the lap of soil,
with her tattered dreams
like every indian women

Beauty

Brought me up in the lap of it's,
Encouraged me in the every steps.
All my assets are given by you,
Utilisation of you filled my life with hue.
Treated me well,but how you are being treated..
You have infinite lenity and only soul of BEAUTY.

But

Free r the winds
But want to say
In the lap of mountain s
In the solitude of rooms

Free r the birds
But want to return
To the branches of trees
In the safe corners of home

Free is the mind
But wants shelter
In the sky of ur thoughts
In the depth of ur heart???????

No End Without

Rocked swiftly to silent the emotional swings
I was slammed in the lap of Death and Him
So now that on the outside I am in
What I thought was a horrid nightmare
More commonly known as life after love and the space between
Boldly carved letters litter the arm of my left side
Spelling it simply "love kills"

Nine Yards

I have tied it together,
captured all of it
the good and almost good;
the bad I have
put in a forgetful box.

My collection,
my opus,
my sickness
all of it bundled -
nine yards of nothing much.

I suppose
I defer,
I hope inside
a ticking
moussing heart

somehow
far beyond reason
a book of wayward poems
might emerge
in the lap of a ghostly entity

that once had my name.

On the Banks of Ganges

In the lap of holy Ganges
Mystic waves crawled upon him
Ripples of love embraced and
Divine showers Ganges wet his cheeks.

Saw him in reflections of depth
Blurred it away by blowing breeze
Hymns of nearby ramparts,
Echoed off and reverberated like holy smoke.

When moonlight lit the lamp.
Last shadows filled emptiness
Then saints preached "Death
As eternal stretches of life".

Man On the Moon

Man on the moon-
Why so sad tonight?
Do you see
all the world's plight?

Bombs are flying
there is no peace
As we search
for some release

The poor and weak
die of poverty
While others lounge
in the lap of luxury

Doors locked tight
criminals wander free
Living in constant fear
there's no security

Man on the Moon
that's why you're sad tonight
Because you see
us wallow in this plight.

Beauty with you I cry,
with you I am not afraid to live or die.
I don’t resent your mystery,
you are so perfect to me.
But the Creator pisses me off,
makes me want to scream,
“Come out come out wherever you are.”
Blind faith… for Christ sake, I want to see.
Braille in spirit gets tiresome.
Go away you Big Bully
let me lay my head down
in the lap of Beauty.
Whatever you do don’t bother me
until you want to show me your face.

Extempore Peace

In the iridescent ribbon
In the winking of a smile
In the marbled incandescence
we will sit and talk awhile

In the still before the quiet
In the moment we embrace
In the sweet alliteration
I will memorize your face

In the spark of lit affection
In the humid afternoon
In the rapid conversation
mirror memories fill the room

In the candor inculcating
In the humor of a smile
In the lap of all tomorrow's
we will sit and talk awhile...

Your Little Face - Poem For Little Onea

Your little face;
Like a flower in the morning;
You might recognise me from afar;
When I see you,
as hiding your head in the lap of the mother;
That time I miss my mother;
Your Half hidden small cute face;
Looks like a bear toy;
When I show you my hands
You do intriguing!
When you take your little hand in mouth;
I scold you;
But still give you smile!
When I teach you to speak;
You tend to be quiet;
But I love your lisping voice!

Until I Close My Eyes

In the lap of dawn, as I slept in the melody of the cool breeze,
The countryside started to whistle as she stepped on those petals.
The most elegant figure that shines along with the sun-rays,
Her smile shied the butterflies away; her single glance took the by-passers breath away.

She sang and danced to the melody of the wind,
That fragment of my imagination blew away as I closed my eyes.
I left a sigh and walked past her, hoping to see her again someday.

Garlands draped and strung.
White creeper blossoms
 reminiscent of  snow
penta-hedron, vase shaped,
 single bells.  Five sepal-ed,
 finial, fillistered,
 flower bowls.
Such delicate geometry
 predestined from a seed

Destiny, fate and duty
will always mock one another.
Power struggles between courage
and cowardice, rest in the lap of higher powers.
Increments, irrelevant to atoms.

All that will unfold
is manifest in flowers.

End of the Last Night

There is no need for a hug at the end of the night
Because there is no light in our hearts from you

With eyes that are always asleep
At night, your heart dreams of sleep
In the lap of the night, dreams are sleep

Your desire is in the sky
In this overturned tired heart, there is the fire of love

I fly to you every night
In the arms of sleep, I make dreams with you

At night, I get wrapped up in the sound of your gaze
Your eyes shine a light in my heart in the dark

Peace of Mind

In all this frenzy In our living schedules It’s hard to find Our peace of mind!!! In search of our aims In pursuit of our dreams In making materials our assets ,by all means…… It’s hard to find Our peace of mind!!! Yet when we place our head in the lap of our loved one Or bow our head before the Almighty Or chant His name For just a while It comes running to us It is indeed so near Yet so far Like a genie in the jar So it’s not at all, hard to find Our peace of mind!!
